Don't see Red Dawn. Just don't do it.

I also saw Dune for the first time (RIGHT?!) It was the extended director's cut or some shit. Pretty hilarious but I liked it.

The original one with Sting or the remake?

I saw Rise of the Guardians the other night and found it a lot better than I was expecting. Between that and How To Train Your Dragon, Dreamworks is putting out some seriously great movies lately.

Also saw Seeking A Friend for the End of the World... totally not what the previews made it out to be. It's more of a drama than a comedy and Rob Corrdry (who was all over the previews) is in a whopping two scenes in the beginning of the movie.

I love that one. It's bit aged if you're watching it now but years ago it was amazing. If you interested in the story you can watch the remake + Children of Dune movie with the kid that plays professor X in the new X man movie

Every time slow paced movies comes up I always think of Meet Joe Black. I thought so much of it was so great but fuck was all the good parts spaced out between long gazes between characters.

I enjoyed the remake and Children immensely as it more closely followed the books.

In its defense at least it has a good cast of actors for the film.

Saw Compliance this past weekend. It's about the Mickey D's that got prank called back in '04, that resulted in a young lady being trolled to the max. Dreama Walker (blonde in my sig) stars as the mortified girl. Pretty important film for the naive youngins to see even though it is a bit disturbing to watch. Apparently the problem is very common.... 'Murica!

I just read up on the real story the movie is based off of and that's beyond disgusting and insane managers of these companies were doing such things at the request of a phone call where they can't confirm who the caller really is.

Finally saw Wreck-It Ralph. Wasn't quite what I was expecting, particularly the Hero's Duty part, but that's not really a bad thing. I liked it. Would recommend.

Just saw this with the gf. We both loved the movie, recommend it as an evening movie with the significant other or with children.

Just watched John Dies At The End. As it's one of my favorite books I was really looking forward to the movie, saw it, and wished I didn't. They changed so much stuff it was painful. I understand the movie process but fuck, they just changed so many fucking things.

That was really good. I kinda hope Dave Grohl does another sometime on some other subject, he's a pretty good documentarian.

The accompanying CD is also really, really good.

Infernal Affairs. I really enjoyed this movie but I must say I think The Departed is better.

Just watched an interesting little movie on netflix. To.get.her. Marked as a thriller, but overall really slow for the first hour or so. Kept watching to see what happened to the girls since the first minute or two of the movie tells you four of them die. Thought I had it figured out, but was pleasantly surprised by the way it all played out.
