Watched Infernal Affairs 2 last night. This one is a prequel to the first Infernal Affairs and was very entertaining to watch.
Seven Psychopaths is a fucked up movie.
Gandhi was wrong ! it's just that nobody's got the balls to come right out and say it
Watched Safety Not Guaranteed. Great flick.
While not a movie, yesterday I watched a 2 hour documentary on Ovation channel about Johnny Cash. I do not like country music one iota but there is something about him and what he did for the music community that speaks to me. They interviewed many people involved in the music community from that time and also close friends of Johnny and June Carter. One thing that was touched on is at that time we had Cash, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and others that will be legends forever performing at the same time and even at the same shows during their peek. We'll never see that again.
I've also watched the movie Walk The Line numerous times and I just think it's a superb movie. I also caught myself playing over and over Cash's rendition of Hurt as well as NiN's live version.
I'd recommend The Last Stand, had a couple of chuckles here and there. Oh man, saw Big Trouble in Little China and still liked it, it was the shit when I was a lad. Not bad, not bad at all.
Have you guys seen Kung Pow? It's not quite as funny as BTILC, but it's got a similar sense of ridiculous humor.
That shit was dumb. And not Kung Fu Hustle funny dumb. Dumb dumb.
One of the very first DVD's I bought. The commentary track was awesome when John Carpenter and Kurt Russell start talking about taking their kids to baseball or something like that. The relationship those two have came across great and it helps me enjoy a movie even more when I know those involved in making it had a good time.
A Prophet
French film so it has english subtitles. It's about prison and gangs which is a topic I like and has 97% on RT. Solid the whole way through.

Place Beyond the Pines sucked balls, too long of a movie to have no plot.
Dark Skies. Straight-to-video I think, but its a surprisingly decent movie.
