just watched vhs and that was pretty good. couple things I didnt understand

the story with the skype couple, what did that guy remove from her body? and what is the relation between seeing the creepy little kid and the tracker in her arm, and whatever he was removing?

you may not be able to answer those questions, but that was the only story that I couldnt really put together.

also does vhs 2 elaborate on any of the stories in the first one or is it entirely different?

They are aliens, I haven't watched it in a while, but I believe he's helping the aliens get human/alien hybrid on the girl(s)?

I think the whole part is them like, hallucinating rather than them actually physically walking anywhere. When I saw the house maid just standing there in the hall when they entered the elevator I was like oh shit they're not even out of the building... Definitely an awesome part in the movie. Glad someone else appreciates the film though, I loved it.

Yeah that's what I figured whenever I saw the maid. You see her and she just has the blank expression on her face, I was honestly expecting her face to morph into something else (much like the little girls did). She doesn't even acknowledge that the kids are there and then boom back in the house, which I have to admit made me laugh. I think it just kind of left a bad taste earlier because I hadn't put much thought into the fact that it was just a hallucination. Amazing movie though

It follows the same plot as the original but the ministories themselves are completely different.

Just watched Apartment 143, it was a complete waste of time other than the fact you can laugh how terrible it is, or how many movies it stole different scenes from.

Just watched Dead Man Down. Decent action movie with a typical revenge plot. Tried watching There Will Be Blood and The Master. Couldn't make it through either. Both have been celebrated greatly, and I can see why, but neither appealed to me and I found both very boring.

Don't think it's been mentioned since it came out recently, but I recommend watching "The Way, Way Back." Nice comedy-drama indie film. Nothing ground breaking, but still very good.

I just went and watched The Conjuring. I really enjoyed it. I love horror/scary films so I am partly biased towards it but I have been waiting to see this one for months now so the fact that it lived up to expectations and even exceeded them is great news.
