    Just got back from Divergent.

A few obvious deviations from the book and obviously they had to make it theater-friendly, but I really enjoyed it and felt that the overall film was pretty true to the book. I read the books a few months ago though and there were parts that I saw that I'd forgotten about.

Really hope this does well enough for the sequel.

Saw the new 47 Ronin. Idk dude, there's not a lot of action, but the little you get is pretty cool. I wanted to see Neo kick some ass, and he's a damn supporting character. The whole time I was like 'wtf man, where's Neo?' Oh yeah, the guy w/ the crazy tats gets like one line.

Ya know, if you remove Neo altogether you'll get a decent Asian flick.

Fuck did Kevin Hart ever carry the entire movie. Ice Cube was terribad, tried WAY TOO hard to be a bad ass, but Hart made the entire movie worth it, fuck is he ever a funny nigga

    Google Translate says...

"I just watched the film titled Ride Along.

The movie features some big names such as Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. Ice Cube's performance left much to be desired and while his efforts were ambitious, I couldn't relate to his character. Kevin Hart's brilliant performance however saved the movie, he is indeed a humorous actor."

While watching a Super Best Friends Nuzlocke LP of Pokemon Leaf Green, they mentioned a director's cut of Daredevil. Out of curiosity, I tracked it down and was pleasantly surprised as it turns a terribad Superhero movie into a flawed one with a few questionable casting and director decisions.

It won't make you forget about Ben Afleck or anything, but you get a more coherent plot that adds needed depth to key characters that shouldn't have been cut out for the sake of the cookie cutter bullshit we got in the theatrical release.

    Spoiler: show
Also, Coolio is a central character in the story's true plot.

Can someone explain the appeal of The Wolf of Wall Street? I'm at the point in the movie when he's trying to climb into the car while high and it has had no interest to me so far.

Its just a great, fun ride. Come on dude, that scene is minutes of Leo ACTING like he's tripping balls. Many of those scenes don't have a cut either, they just go on and on, making it so much more amazing.

I'm salty he didn't win an Oscar for it.

Watched 47 Ronin. Sucked donkey balls. Also watched Anchorman 2. Wasn't terrible but nowhere near the quality of the first one. Only lol'ed a couple of times. Still worth watching though.

I didn't even see 47 Ronin, just from the previews I felt like the special effects were overdone.

That scene was just... awkward. I felt embarrassed watching it. Couldn't really handle that. I wanted to see 47 Ronin really bad, sad I didn't. And Wolf of Wallstreet is fucking hilarious. One of the funniest movies and Leo in it is amazing. Also this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-y1N29vH2Y

    Watched recently -

    47 Ronin: Absolutely terrible.
Anchorman 2: I liked it enough to watch it twice.

The Haunter. It was alright, very confusing in the beginning however. It's kind of like The Others. The "villain" looked familiar, but couldn't figure out where. That ended up being the part of William Danvers III from Covenant.

Next movie: The Amazing Spider Man 2. only a few weeks to go.

Haven't seen it but I'd imagine it being sorta like that abortion of a Zack Snyder film with the chicks
