What you saw in Fury took place over a period of like 1 day, maybe 2 tops. Honestly when I was watching it, it didn't cross my mind, 'oh, these guys just don't resonate w/ me. They are a bunch of assholes, and I can't sympathize w/ them.' What I saw was a bunch of broken-down human beings that didn't want to be there. However, they understood someone had to do those horrific things and it was them... even if it meant losing their humanity. Who was the lone survivour? Machine.

Has anyone seen Predestination? I just watched it and honestly its one of the most fucked up things ive ever seen. I cant tell if i am a terrible person for feeling such sadness for the main character and his/her situation. the acting was phenomenal, though. i know ive heard this story before, in some way, but seeing in on film really made me think.

DO NOT READ ABOUT THIS MOVIE if you plan on giving it a shot, the fact that i had heard the story before made the movie slightly less enjoyable, but the acting really bridged the gap. it's kind of predictable, especially at certain points, but it almost doesnt matter because you want to the expected outcome if/when you figure it out. either way it is an extremely good movie to watch before bed.

Predestination was one of the most WTF movies I have ever seen.. in a good way. Jumping on the I Origins train as well. Really liked the during the credits bit too.

Nightcrawler: Good, but I do think its a bit overhyped.
I Origins: Really good movie, technically sci fi I guess?
Comet: Great romance movie that follows a couple in different stages of their relationship, but it gets trippy in a few scenes. Stars Justin Long and that Emmy chick from Shameless. Absolutely love those two.

I Origins was good but didn't hit "great/AMAZEBALLS" for me.

Not a movie but only 2hrish long. Watched Over the Garden Wall earlier today and it is super comfy show, worth checkin out and easy to find online.
