they are all pretty low quality screeners, im prob gonna wait on real rips for most. glowgaze has em all up if you want to check them out

between Birdman and Nightcrawler can't decide which I liked more. I think Birdman was definitely the objectively note accomplished film, but Nightcrawler was just...so...gripping.

Birdman's cinematography will overshadow Nightcrawler's and for good reason but they also did a good job.

both are must sees IMO

Note taken on The Signal vs Lucy.

Saw both Olympus Has Fallen and White House Down. Both enjoyable movies but Olympus Has Fallen is hands down a much better movie.

As for Under The Skin - if it wasn't for the fact that it showed Scarlett Jo naked like every 20 minutes or so that movie was an utter waste of time. Creepy and very boring movie imo.

Think I'll add Birdman, Nightcrawler, and American Sniper to the list since you guys are raving about those movies.

My only real beef with the movie was toward the middle when the main character was playing Overwatch to the troops that were knocking down doors in the city ... he can just decide "oh hey, I'm not playing Overwatch anymore because I want to protect the US forces so I'm gonna go down and breech doors with them"? Doesn't he have orders to follow?...

(I'm not a military guy so maybe certain guys like him can dictate what he's doing next, idk)

Idk either, other than he felt he was ineffective once they entered. Highly dramatized including the 2100 yard shot that was never verified.

just watched nightcrawler, it was good and jake gyllenhal plays a great creeper/autistic sociopath (also known as pulling a ryan gosling), but personally it felt like it really hammered home the "news is sensationalist" angle a bit too much
