Watched The Imitation Game last night. Was a pretty good movie all around (can't go wrong with Cumberbatch, srsly). They didn't mention at all how Turing committed suicide, just that he did at the end. But I really liked how they subtly eluded to it with a couple moments in the movie. Spoilers for anyone who doesn't know and wants to know:

    Spoiler: show
He ate an apple poisoned with cyanide. At least, it was confirmed to be a suicide at the time and some people suspect it could have possibly been foul play upon recently looking over the evidence

Bit late, but Big Hero 6 was a pretty good movie. In a later movie I saw recently, (I forget which specifically, one of the Justice League ones), had the main protagonist from Big Hero 6 in it, which was pretty neat.

Watched The Winter Soldier again last night while I was working on something. Man does that movie have some dope action sequences. Cap has some sweet lines too.

anybody else been watching man seeking woman on fxx? it's got jay baruchel and eric andre, which is good. the show itself is super surreal and way out there, i dont think the premise will last for more than 1 or 2 seasons, but it's interesting to watch. the pilot is the weakest episode out of the first 5 though, so power through the pilot and you should be good

One of my good friends is the promo editor for this show (he edits the commercials), he loves it.

I still liked the first one better - but imo there are more likeable characters in this one. Some might not like it because it goes over the top on a lot of the gore scenes, but if you can handle it, it's definitely worth the watch. I enjoyed it and thought it was very funny. By the way, it's on Netflix!

Just watched John Wick. Was a pretty good movie. +1 just because Kevin Nash was in it. Was also cool to see a few guys from The Wire get some roles.

Watched the Voices last night with my boyfriend it's an ironic Valentine's Day movie I guess. I have mixed feelings about whether or not I liked it. I read part of the script years ago when it had Blacklist buzz so I wanted to see how the final movie turned out. It's definitely a surprisingly dark comedy but even though it has some odd quirk to it the comedy aspect could have been more emphasized to balance the darkness. It was also difficult much of the time to tell what the hell the cat and dog were saying because of their accents. I don't regret watching it but I probably wouldn't watch it again. The movie is something very different, whether or not that's good will depend on your tolerance for dark comedies. When the credit sequence starts you'll never get that song out of your head.
