its completely different and actually has very little violence. i imagine the title threw off a lot of people and is most likely what has tity boi and anyone else that expected a departed/good fellas type gangster flick upset.

It is about an honest small business owner in a corrupt industry trying to close a huge business deal while avoiding indictment from the po-nine and takeover from his competitors in NYC in 1981 which saw record breaking violence. It is a good story and the acting is incredible so definitely worth watching, but seriously, don't go in expecting the Godfather or you will wind up disappointed like our pill addled friend above.

Did you watch Ex Machina? I just took a peek on wiki and it looks interesting. Box office (UK) it looks like a flop, but it's a science fiction movie so no surprise there in my opinion.
