Bridesmaids and Lincoln Lawyer are the only two I'd bother with, personally.

You shouldn't feel bad but I'm surprised you haven't seen Bridesmaids or the Town just cuz of their popularity. Lincoln Lawyer prob best of the bunch

you forgot Limitless, Horrible Bosses, Contagion, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Moneyball, Warrior, 50/50, and The Grey. And The Town was 2010.

50/50 was an excellent movie. JGL and Anna Kendrick together is the hotness. A lot of movies will get me choked up, but I legit cried at that movie. Can't recommend it enough.

I read part of the script years ago when it had Blacklist buzz so I wanted to see how the final movie turned out. It's definitely a surprisingly dark comedy but even though it has some odd quirk to it the comedy aspect could have been more emphasized to balance the darkness. It was also difficult much of the time to tell what the hell the cat and dog were saying because of their accents. I don't regret watching it but I probably wouldn't watch it again. The movie is something very different, whether or not that's good will depend on your tolerance for dark comedies. When the credit sequence starts you'll never get that song out of your head.

Watched this today. Interesting movie and I liked it, but I would imagine most people won't like it. Starts out pretty cringe-worthy because Reynolds plays his character very well(also does the voices for the animals), in fact all of the performances were pretty good. The cinematography was something that stood out to me as very well done to display his different moods/psychosis and how the real world vs his mind perceived things. It is less comedic than you would think and most of the laughs stem from awkward interactions, absurdity, and just how crazy the main character is, it seemed to have a british comedy feel to it and it felt familiar in a way but I can't think of what other movies it reminded me of. Hard to make a blanket statement recommendation, but I thought it was worth the time I spent watching it even if it was a movie that I feel I may never view more than once if that makes sense.
