Believe it or not, it was Dr. Who and Benny Hill that made me fall in love with British TV. I wouldn't watch series like Misfits, Torchwood or The Black Adder if it wasn't for the Doctor.

Campy? Somebody hasn't put much effort into it.

Up until a year ago I never gave the show much of a chance. Watched an episode or two but just wrote it off and stupid and made fun of people that were fans. But I got bored one day and needed to watch something while grinding away in games and I put on the David Tennant start to the show and got addicted. Great fucking show.

I've had this reaction from every Doctor Who nut ever.

It's campy as fuck.

I've watched all of Eccleston, some of Tennant and some of Capaldi and it's honestly just not very good to me. People sploosh over it and that's fine. I do the same thing over Game of Thrones.

Just recently saw Her. Great movie. People said it was creepy but I didn't really get that from watching it. Thought the dynamic between Joaquin and Scarlett was charming. Most impressive to me about the movie though, was the cinematography. It's freaking amazing. And Hoyte van Hoytema's work on Interstellar was also brilliant. Looking forward to what he will do on Spectre.

Cannot unsee the face on Joaquin's forehead near the end though.
