Managed to catch Genisys the last day it was in theatres where I live. I quite enjoyed it. I'm not sure how much you'll get out of it if you haven't seen the first two movies in the series, but I had a blast.

On a sidenote, I noticed a lot of the people in the movie used Lumia phones. Guess they finally got that killer app....

Just came back from seeing Ant-man finally. I have to say, the best parts of the movie had to have been when Luis was telling a story and how the setup a flash back for his story. The actors portraying and taking what he said and saying themselves was incredible. It felt far more comedy than action but adds to it being re-watchable later on. I'm going to be really curious how they use Ant-man in future films since the entire time I had a feeling of, "this is great but I can't take this all too seriously".

Question for you people out there, any recent (2014/2015) DECENT/Awesome martial arts movies come out and worth of recommendation? I need my fix!

The Raid 2 is still my favorite action/martial arts flick. It's perfect and the plot is engaging. I would preface that with The Raid 1 (it loosely sets up Raid 2 just by introducing the main character), but it's slightly older than what you asked for @2012.

The man from Nowhere and I saw the Devil is fucking great, but again that came out in 2010.

Oldboy was 2013.

Just to say too, The Raid 2 is easily the best. I recently watched my favorite movie of all time (Heat) and I gotta say Raid 2 is an extreme close 2nd and possibly ready to take the throne.
