Thanks, will watch. Gotta love those revenge flicks.

Also - saw Goodnight Mommy last night. Good flick but it's suuuuuper slow burn. Not what I expected, but not necessarily a bad thing.

Wow, if I was infuriated by Making a Murderer, what I'm watching now blows it out of the fucking water. I'm watching this documentary called Trophy Kids, where parents push their kids to do well in sports. It's disgusting the way these parents treat their kids, particularly the football dad who calls his son a "female" and a "retard," and the golf dad who calls his 8 year old daughter a "stupid fucking bitch." It's abusive as fuck.

It's a good documentary but beware, it will piss you off.

Finally had the chance to watch a few from my backlog:

The Man From Earth: Interesting story about a person who may or may not be 14k years old.
Moonrise Kingdom: Wes Anderson movie. Likable characters, funny story and beautifully shot.
    Nightcrawler
    DotPotA
    Captain Phillips
Bone Tomahawk: Kinda like the Hills Have Eyes but in the wild west.

Take Shelter - Thriller Scifi, if that's your thing go for it. Great acting and story.

Up next a toss up between Cloud Atlas and the Tree of Life...

Watched goodnight mommy. Didn't like it. Burn was too slow. Not a great payoff.

Watched Goodnight mommy and liked it. Quite slow but not dis-interestingly slow.

I think even Tarantino would tend to disagree with you.

    http://www.mtv.com/news/2154295/quen...ht-first-look/

For now, the filmmaker has already dropped a comparison that’s sure to get Tarantino nerds psyched up. He says that the movie, which sees “eight of the West’s nastiest gunslingers in a snowbound frontier way station,” according to EW, is something akin to “Reservoir Dogs” set in the Wild West.

“A bunch of guys in a room who can’t trust each other,” he says. “That wasn’t a marching order when I sat down to write the script, but pretty quickly I realized this is kind of a nice coming-full-circle.”
I didn't say it was a bad thing. It just is, but opinions are well.. you know.

Proof that no one actually reads this fucking thread. It's fine when Jefe recommends the same shit I recommend a year after I recommend it because that's how being in the third world works but damn people are talking about how bad this movie is on this very page damn! Try to sell us on it at least.
