Saw Argo starring the Batfleck, and damn the movie's intense. Had sweaty hands and shit going on. If for some strange reason you haven't seen it, yeah, check it out.

Up next, a movie straight from the land of the rising sun: 13 Assassins. Stay tuned.

I saw "Once Upon a Time In the West" for the third (or was it fifth?) time. The music is getting better and better <3

It was actually an accident, my net stopped working for, like, 3 hours @3 AM, and I couldn't sleep...so I remembered couple old , classic movies a friend gave me in 2010 (!) to "educate myself"

My dyslexia kicked in and I read it as "A Millions Ways to Die in the West" for some reason and thought, how could someone like that movie and what's worse, watch it 5 times? Then did double take. Anyway, you just gave me an idea about what to watch next. Western binge here we go. All recommendations are welcome!

Personally I've watched pretty much all the classic Eastwood westerns, but the best and most obvious that stand out are A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and the timeless classic, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

Always meant to watch The Magnificent Seven, just never got around to it. I did watch its counterpart from which the idea for Magnificent came from though. Seven Samurai. Interesting fact and I'm pleasantly surprised, when I was looking up the old western on IMDB, the remake is coming out this year, starring Chris Pratt, Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio and a bunch of other big names.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2404435/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Definitely looking forward to this one.

You guys are underselling it. I thought 13 Assassins was an excellent piece of cinema. Holy shit, where do I begin? If you like awesome films, then you need to check this one out. The battle scene was magnificent, almost 1 hour! It was organized chaos. The choreography was amazing, not some cheesyass crap where you have some performer swinging a bat, lightsaber, or w/e. In this movie it was: 1 swing = kill or be killed. The main dude was a badass, all of them kicked ass. I totally bought they were samurai.

    13 Assassins was fantabulous.

    Crimson Peak

Not too bad. I had read some reviews before watching the movie and I knew that it was more of a gothic love story rather than a pure horror story.
The costumes and set design were really great. Something about that Victorian era really brings out the terror of ghosts. Also, those ghosts... holy shit

That movie suckedass. Boring af, and don't expect the zombies to show up right away. If you have nothing to do and a shitload of time, give it a watch... I guess? Watch Attack the Block instead.

Crimson Peak: Cheesy love-story du jour, you've seen the same thing a bunch of times. However, it does have Guillermo's charm, the visuals, detail, etc. etc., you can tell right away it was his creation. So if you dig the director and you don't mind the generic romance bs, knock yourself out.

Watched Creed today. Thought it was great. Essentially a rehash of Rocky but still definitely worth watching.

I don't know if it's been mentioned in this thread, but "JCVD", a movie with Jeanne-Claude Van Damme is really good. Great rating on rottentomatoes too. Highly recommend it.

Inspired by Vanity's death, rewatched Last Dragon after at least 10 years. God damn it's still a amazing movie. You youngbloods really need to check it out. Seconding Hirronimus on JCVD, its Van Damme in a way you've never seen before.

    Spoiler: show

Dude, it was so honest. I honestly was surprised to see that caliber of acting coming from him. I have new found respect for the man. His talent really was wasted by Hollywood.
