Plain and simple we didnt meet the objectives, and more success comes with experience and knowledge

So like sombody said before this post, if you have time to deal with salvage drop rates, then you have time to read the fucking pages of info we have set out for you.
Thats pretty cool, that you picking on me for something so small, I dont see how you are questioning my leadership when we get better every week. I mean, uve got to be kidding me! Making excuses!! pfft you dont know me or my lifestyle, I'll read the pages when I can. My shell did the best we could and we did awsome yesterday, thats all I can ask.

    We did bhaflau remnants

Defeating the flans with spikes on
2nd Floor- hoping for Skirmish Pephredo

Defeating Archaic Gears at the same time
    3rd Floor - Zebra Zachary

Defeating 10 Gears w/o them warping
    4th floor - Peryton

We basically went after these NMs but couldnt complete the objectives necessary. Then we wouldve went after the long bowed chariot after we defeated the 2 in E and W rooms.

Any efficent ways to killing these gears at the same time?

Lol, failed to pop 2nd floor... haven't seen that happen since before the first salvage nerf/buff.

Could be worse I guess, watch him go to AR and fail to kill a QQTH.

If it was a magic weak one, possibly an additional effect from a weapon or a stray skillchain, or formless strikes. Although its not 'hard' to pop 2nd floor rampart, its very easy to screw up if your party members dont pay attention/listen. Which is also about 90% of the reason something goes wrong in an FFXI event.

Not at all. It depends on several things, like what said person is after.

For example, my main MNK have full Usukane, Morrigan and Skadi. That would normally take 60-90 months according to you, but we've barely done Salvage for 2 years. My new BRD I picked up have 13/15 full Marduk, and she's gone with us for 30 runs tops. That's at most 7,5 months for almost a full set.

What surprises me is that you decide to bring 15+ people to Salvage, even though you expect a piece to be completed in 4-6 months? That would take, what? At least 300 years for everyone to complete a full set?

    I'll give you some tips.
    1) do more runs
    2) read up on wtf you do.

Really, as a leader, you need to know the runs better then the back of your own hand. Especially when you first start out in Salvage. If you're not confident enough to lead the runs, and if you keep failing, your members will give up and you will get nowhere. Don't use the "I don't have time" excuse. The least you could do for your own members is spend the time to learn everything there is to learn about Salvage.

And once someone else in the shell knows the run as good as you do, you can split up and get twice as much done.

Do you spell "second" as 2nd? That's retarded. And you just don't cast magic on it and you should be fine, it doesn't just "dissapear".

I'd be interested in your runs per completed piece rate if you've got the information available to calculate it.

Thanks for the advice, I really do like the fact you were really honest and respectful. I do agree, with you with that aspect so, ive been reading up on it alot lately, trying to study, but im not good at cramming material and my room is set up where I can watch the game and be on the comp at the same time.

I have 3 other leaders that no this like the back of theyre hands and ive picked up an experienced bard.

That isn't entirely true. The melee vulnerable ones can -easily- be killed before they put the spikes up. It's quite common (esp if it casts an ancient) for us to have to stop attacking for a bit.

He's saying spikes were up and they disapeered last second or something.
