Here are a few of my suggestions (I think they are kinda corny since taken directly from FFXI in some way - maybe a few aren't as obvious - but what's most important is that they wouldn't sound "bad" to non-FFXI players)... keep in mind we can use spaces in our names.

I liked "Hydra Corps" and "Mandalic Kleos" (but I think I liked Mandalic Kleos just cause it sounds all funky & obscure hehe) the most. What I like about them is that: #the names will hold an appeal to anybody, #they fit the destruction theme, but #they will still hold a significance to FFXI. I'm just shy w/giving input >.>

edit: Marauder sounds really cool and diff from any other mmo class I've seen (I love the mutating arm idea). I haven't played too many mmo's, but I've always been a healer for my first job so I'm going w/Zealot since, when spec'd right, they seem one of the most potent healers.

I'm stuck between a Dark Elf and a Chosen at the moment. I want to roll a Witch Elf, but tanking has always been my thing. They cut the Dark Elf tanking class from the game which is kind of depressing. A tank seems to fit a guild leader a lot better then a DPS as well as they're on the front lines of PVE, and can make a definitive difference in a pvp situation. I need to see how big of a roll tanks play in Warhammer before making my decision.

I'll give the game a shot. The gameplay sounds awesome, I love PVP, I'm not sure how I feel about the look of the game however. Took me a while to get used to WoW coming from FFXI as well though, so it may just be different. Definitely wanting to at least try it out, some of the things like leveling from PVP have me very interested :D

As far as open beta goes... I'll be getting access for sure since I ordered the CE. I have no problem sharing access with other members if they wanted to try it out. It's not like anything carries over once it goes live. Hopefully Mythic won't have a problem with sharing access.

If you wouldn't mind, if you get into closed beta too, I'd at the most like to download the beta client installer so I won't have to worry about it later.

I thought everyone who pre-ordered the standard edition also got into OB [a few days after those of the CE]. The only point of the OB is to stress test the servers so I'd assume they want to get all pre-orders into it.

All pre-orders do get into OB, but some CE preorders will also get into the closed beta.

Ok, I just looked at that list on the first page... it looks like CE pre-orders gets access to the Free Preview weekend before open beta or w/e. Anyways, Eanae, I'll download the client and hook you up if it's possible.
