There is still a good chance USC will go to the Rose Bowl -- it's not like the Ducks are a bad team. Just because Oregon State has won every game in Corvallis since 1996 doesn't really mean much. But I think everyone outside of Happy Valley, Columbus and Eugene will probably be rooting for Oregon State next week, just to see USC play someone like Texas/Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Every Pac-10 message board I've seen has USC fans generally rooting for the Beavers to win out.

Yes, big congrats to the Cougars on winning the Apple Cup again and brightening the future. My parents met while attending WSU, so it's always been my second favorite Pac-10 team. Almost as good as winning the game this year is the fact that for the rest of time, you can say "Hey, remember that one year the Huskies went 0-12?"
