Yep, too bad for Texas now. If Oklahoma loses, Tech could have an argument to get in, and if OU wins, they have an argument to get in. TX is stuck in the middle.

I hope bama tosses up 7 fingers.
finally...ROLL MOTHERFUCKING TIDE!!!
i didn't wanna say anything 'till i felt safe. lol...too many nightmares of the past 6 years. who is ready for the Nation...i mean SEC Championship next week?
McElroy looked really good with that throw to Maze. Man, if he has that kind of arm + Maze + Julio Jones = a nice WR core next year possibly. Julio Jones especially.
I hope Florida/Alabama lives up to their record's hype. I really don't want a blowout.
Lot's of favorable scenarios for Texas. Mack can leave OU off the ballot, and it certainly wouldn't be the first time that the coaches poll swapped two teams in the last week to boost someone up. I'm hoping that the coaches don't have short-term memory and realize that Stoops has 4 loses in the past 5 years in the BCS. So many reasons not to put Oklahoma in over Texas, god I'm going to cry if it does happen. I want muh Florida vs Texas (shut up bama fans, you're not winning)
Was nice seeing tech beat the dawgs today and florida rolling the seminoles as I expected.
i think you shall be surprised.![]()
Oh I'm entertaining that idea noble, because Florida just may win by 30+ instead of the 12 I'm expecting.
First up, I really don't think they'll lose that bad, which is why I'm guessing you are being sarcastic. It'll probably be a 38-24/41-24 type of game with Florida winning. At least by two TDs either way.
That and also, which Big XII coach was it without a vote? They don't vote anymore in the Coaches Poll or something I heard. I can't remember if it was Mack Brown or not. Also, that doesn't mean they have a lot of outs. They have that one hope that someone does something disrespectful like leaving them off the ballot to save Texas and put them in the Big XII title game.
I'd rather see Oklahoma vs Florida over Texas vs Florida. Colt McCoy carries Texas, but at least with Oklahoma playing for the National Title game, you'd think they'd play hard since I remember someone saying they don't get up to play in meager bowl games like the Fiesta Bowl. =P
Wow. Boise state completely CRUSHED a Fresno State team that was ranked until week 6 of the season, 61-10. They're ranked #9 in the BCS and may well jump ahead of Texas Tech after their anemic win over lowly Baylor. But, because of Utah lurking ahead of them at #6, there is no chance they'd get an at-large bid over USC. Even if Oregon beats OSU there's virtually no chance they'll get a bid over 2-loss Ohio State.
And that's a shame.
Oregon leading Oregon State 17-7 right now!
Mack Brown has the vote...and it isn't disrespectful for coaches to change their vote and but Texas ahead of Oklahoma a week after putting Oklahoma ahead. Texas won head to head on a neutral field. And don't let Plow troll you into believing that Oklahoma doesn't put effort into lesser BCS games, you can't convince me that players just mysteriously give up their competitiveness because they aren't playing for championships. They'd play their asses off if they were playing high school kids in the back yard...it's that passion that put them into uniforms at Oklahoma and not random directional school.
I'd do it. Fuck rivals. Especially if it involved me getting paid. I got kids to feed.
Heres to hoping OSU plays OU close but OU wins so that it all goes into UTs favor
Musburger just went off on the Big XII's system, made me lol. It does seem kind of impractical, choosing the conference championship based on a system that's been so heavily criticized.
7-3 OU atm.
