Uh... I did watch the game. KU lost. They gave up 37 points. Are you going to say that's good defense? Because from what I saw, Grothe shredded KU's secondary. o.o; right?

I get mixed emotions here heh, everybody knows I'm a Kansas kid, but I used to live in Tampa and my parents still do. Can't be too upset, but definitely really disappointed for KU to go down, especially like that.

Also sucks to see that KU's oline is probably not going to be able to hold up against their schedule this year. Of course, missing their #1 receiver they were taking like 30 seconds to get open, but even so, the lines they'll face are too consistently good to rely on Reesing clowning entire teams all year.

Well other than that pick, Reesing did have a great game. Grothe did too. It's just a shame Kansas didn't contain him, and USF couldn't contain him for most of the first half. It was really two separate games. Still an awesome game no matter how ya look at it. Big East really needed that win too.

Reesing is a beast. But the only challenges left for USF is CT, Cinn (yeah wtf), and WVU. FIU Syracuse Rutgers Pitt Louisville all seem like W's to me.

Virtually no question USF should be in a bcs game this year, barring a freak loss.


KU very well might also, depending pretty much entirely on if they can get their oline fully operational. The dline will be much better than they were in the 3rd quarter, I can guarantee that much.

Yeah. KU needs to fix their pass coverage because those 8-10 yard passes (obviously along with those deep bombs) really killed them. I don't think USF will get to a BCS bowl, honestly. WVU could still recover. Louisville, Pitt, and Rutgers all have no shot though. I think it'll be between USF and WVU.

The thing is that the passing games, for both teams, were successful because of the massive time the quarterbacks were able to wait for their receivers to get open.

For USF it was because their oline is pretty amazing, and KU wasn't able to get much of any pressure, along with some pretty good creation and great throws.

For KU, it was simply because Reesing is a freak that can put the ball 25 yards down field perfectly on target while his throwing foot is in front of his other because he's running around like Dante Hall returning a punt back there.

I can't take much more of this SC/Georgia game. Reffing is absolutely horrible and the refs need to be shot.

Michigan doing a little better now without two fumbles/turnovers inside their own 15. Oregon having awful luck too with their turnovers. UGA/SC reffing is putrid. BYU is destroying UCLA. Some good stuff going on.
