When do the picks become live? I tried to make my selections and the button that said to set picks was greyed out. =/

You must fail, I just set my picks - worked fine.
FYI, it's Tar Heels (two words)I'm nitpicky since I'm a year away from my second degree there.
Carolina has the easiest schedule in the ACC, and was in every game but 2 last year in Butch's first year.
If you don't have USC as your #1 confidence, you are an idiot.
Bama won't beat Clemson in Death Valley. This is Clemson's year - if Bowden loses that game, he might not survive the night.
Probably not. Good thing it's in Atlanta, eh? And losing that game may not be good for Bowden, but it's not like losing that game would be equal to a huge upset. Alabama has a ton of returning starters, as well as a QB that has all the right tools, just lacks balls.
Truth be told, I initially had VA over Sanchez and USC. I am a little to ballsy when making picks, that's probably why I always finish near the bottom year in and year out.![]()
Didn't realize it was in Atlanta. It's definitely not the craziest upset pick - Bama is a formidable team.
I'm just buying Clemson this year - which is pretty stupid because lolACC football, right?
Well.. other than Virginia Tech as of late, yeah, lolACC football. D: I think Clemson will be pretty good this year though. They are bound to have a decent season right?
Picks are working now, dunno what happened earlier but w/e. All is well.![]()

Yay Wisconsin top-10!
Sorry, I have to take what enjoyment I can from these things.
Man, what the fuck? Auburn #7? What the hell have we done to put us that high?! Stop putting a damn bullseye on Auburn, gawd. =[
And holy hell. Texas Tech at #8? Yeah, now I know SI is smoking crack. Tech might be a Top 15 for sure, but 8? I don't even think LSU should be #9 with the amount of playmakers they lost. Their lines are still in tact though, so eh. Crazy. I hate preseason ranking.
I'm also not sure what they were thinking putting Oregon State at #18; I haven't seen many other prognosicators putting them in the top half of the conference. The last time I remember SI over-ranking Oregon State, it was the 2001 season and they had them as the preseason #1. They lost their first game of the year at Fresno State by 2 or 3 touchdowns -- the "Over-rated" chants started in the second quarter. The Beavers went on to finish 5-6 that year.
Preseason rankings make for great fan discussion, but they give bulletin board material to other teams and build a false sense of confidence.
You know something? It says Top 20 Scouting, so I dunno. Maybe these aren't actually rankings. >.> They can't be rankings. Shit's too wonky except for maybe the Top 5.
Bump as a reminder to make your picks for this week's games. Although there are a handful of games Thursday, none of these games happen before Saturday. Which means there is still plenty of time to sign up for the game.

Oregon State @ Stanford (ESPN2)
I can't wait.
Forgot to readjust my confidence values...Mich and Va Tech fucked me hard (at 8 and 9)cause I had them high at first. I would have put them lower but I completely forgot to check up on my stuff.
8 for 10 but off to a bad start.
Missed the first week ;/
And wtf ASU, if you wanna be a contender you need to seal away and blowout teams in the 2nd half.
Some fun games today for sure. Alabama rolled over Clemson. So didn't see that coming.
ROLL TIDE MOTHA FUCKAS YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
