Alabama looking really bad against kentucky atm. Luckily kentucky isn't doing much either so it's only 14-0, but alabama special teams is blowing it again.

Yeah. Bama is having a mental breakdown, as I predicted, this week. I figured they'd play sloppy, but 9 or 10 penalties? Can't really move the ball? Yeah. I think they are still on that high, just like they were against Tulane. Second game in a row they've played lethargic in the 3rd quarter.
Miami/FSU all the sudden turned into a good game... 31-15, then a HB Toss to make it 31-22.
Texas Tech is just... wow.
Wow Alabama RB fumbles inside the kentucky 15, no one near it except 3 kentucky players, and they knock it out of bounds trying to recover it. I kinda wanted kentucky to win but screw that, I hope alabama wins now just for that one play lol
Michigan is getting whooped by Illinois. I guess last week was a fluke. (Kind of amazing that they were favored)
And the year before that *coughBoiseStatecough*
Just had a quick look, Oklahoma actually lost their last 4 BCS bowl games ;o
Jesus, Bama squeaked away with one.
At Oklahoma, once the national title is off the line, the term "big game" is out of the picture.
I was very disappointed in Alabama's special teams. Also the pass interference penalties were very sketchy. A what shoulda been 27-7 game was 17-14. If Kentucky found a way to stop Glenn Coffee it woulda been real ugly. I'm just glad we have an off-week coming up to work on special teams and practice on the fundamentals.
27-7 nothing. Kentucky should have won that game but lost it on that dumb ass fumble at the end. Thank god this game showed Alabama is not all that, and again I truly hope UGA and LSU were watching this game in their off weeks, Kentucky just exposed Bama BIG and Bama was lucky to come away 6-0.
Lots of good football today overall. And GASP Oklahoma was held to under 50 points!
Lost 2 and a half. It should've been on the line against k-state in 04 but they got lucky and got another chance.
Won I don't even know how many when you consider the matchups with undefeated Texas, K-State, Colorado, and Nebraska teams in the regular season, and all the big 12 championship games.
So you're going to argue that Alabama was basically trying to give the game away today with dumb mistakes like they made? I'm pretty sure they did. Even I can tell that as an objective bystander. I think it would've been a nice win for Kentucky, but you have to have an ugly win along the year sometime. This could be one of Bama's ugly wins. In AU's 13-0 season, they won 10-9 at home against LSU. Maybe this will give Alabama the wakeup call they need.
Either way, I don't think the up the middle glaring weakness is as big as say... what.. 11 penalties for almost 100 yards? That's enough to hurt anyone.
As far as Oklahoma goes, they seem to be like the Atlanta Braves of College Football, if that makes sense. Well.. the Braves of the 90s/early 00s. They could do super well in regular season, but once playoff time comes, they choke up.
His name is Big flop Bob for a reason. Big game bob...my ass. You're a fucking idiot. He's lost 4 of the last 5 games in january.
Edit...Bama got eaten up in the short passing and middle of the field game.
Nah, Kentucky should have won it not because Bama fumbled, but because Kentucky couldnt KEEP the fumble with 3 guys in white around it. Both teams had mistakes, they even hurt bama more than kentucky, but kentucky couldnt do anything with them. Kentucky's fault for losing, but it was well within their grasp with how well their defense kept Alabama honest and in check.
Obviously the penalties hurt, ask UGA. But Kentucky's young young QB couldnt do jack passing to the outside, but he was damn accurate when hitting mid field. Im saying you get a stronger passer in there like Stafford, Lee, Auburn in general, or even Vandy/Florida, and Alabama is gonna have some issues they need to address.
Not to negate the game as a whole, but if this doesn't humble Bama then theyre going to have real trouble again, Atlanta or not.
And just to add insult to injury...Oklahoma in the post season a winner? Historically sure...past 5-6 years, thats a pretty good joke. They choke harder than Hawaii.
Alabama looked a lot better in their win against UGA than today against Kentucky.
I will say that first touchdown run was a magnificent play; that RB absolutely smoked Kentucky's defense.
