Daniel's 2nd half tells you just how good those defenses really are, and how truly ridiculous the QB's are.

    27-31

    3 of those were int.

So he had 1 incomplete pass out of 31 in the 2nd half, and 3 times as many int lol.

Texas and Oklahoma and KU will all have games like this, where they're throwing balls that can't be a half inch to the right or left, and they're just going that half inch. The team (if anybody) that comes out of it will be the one that can cover those turnovers in those games.

Also, Oklahoma State is freaking good, which is awesome for me cuz I can actually cheer for them lol.

edit: yes, I am aware that one of Daniel's int was just a horrible decision and an even worse throw

Penn State is definitely the real deal, and I like them beating OSU most definitely when they play. They played awesome.

I propose that Auburn's Defense and Special Teams will outscore the Offense by season's end this year.

God damnit Vandy! You had to lose to a shitty team you should have beaten! Now ESPN won't pick up our game and we (UGA) will play you at 1230 leaving me with only 4 hours to tailgate! If you would have done your freakin job and won chances are we'd have played at 8! Fuck you Commodore!

I was at the UNC-ND game today.

Can BG start a petition to fire the refs that officiated that game?

Missed offensive pass interference against ND
Bullshit holding call on Nicks that negated our 20 yd TD run
THE OVERRULE OF THE CATCH BY FOSTER
And that garbage at the end - either it's a fumble (game over) or 0:00 (game over), but it looked like they were going to give ND another play from the 9 yd line

I wasn't alive with the Olympics fucked the US basketball team against Russia, but I can imagine how it felt now.

UNC 5-1, will be top 20 next week, UVA coming up next

CAROLINA FOOTBALL IS BACK (despite refs best attempts)

Big post time, try to keep up kids.

    Big game bob who?

Does anything really need to be said about Michigan anymore?

Damnit Vandy, you just HAVE to drop a game RIGHT before UGA gets to play you. Cinderella cant keep her shoes on for one more week?

Auburn...sigh. How do you lose to a team that is winless in the SEC? Sorry, was winless.

Nebraska...so close. You guys are improving. Keep going.

USC...sloppy sloppy sloppy play. Be glad that ASU is on that much a bad streak.

Penn State, I hope you go undefeated the rest of this season so Sparty can end your season in East Lansing.

Speaking of Michigan State, how bout them Spartans! Time to put your money where the mouth is with Ohio State next week. But MSU is looking that strong, and in a weird turn of events Hoyer actually looks to be IMPROVING with Ringer continuing to be a beast.

SEC time. Good and bad day.

Florida. Florida. Florida. The score does not indicate how well LSU played. Dont get me wrong, Florida was obviously the better team in how they played. But certainly not 51-21 better. Lee was showing signs of being bulletproof and then just melted down.

Though based on Auburns recent performances...LSU was not THAT good. But I can give Florida some credit and they actually ran an organized offense without doing too much and just simply played intelligent football. Though having Timmy and 1st string still taking snaps up by 20 with what, 6 mins left in the game? Come on. The only thing you're fooling is the computers and that wont matter when you leave Jax with a big fat L.

Georgia. Now, i'll admit this part WILL be a little biased, but only slightly. UGA looked much improved today. Yes, Tennessee is down, but their defense is still a solid SEC defense and though the score does not totally reflect it, Stafford was able to throw and connect the ball at will. Massaquoi was AMAZING today, and A.J. Green got his confidence back after his lackluster performance 2 weeks ago. Moreno has a deeply bruised elbow and STILL ran for 100+ yards.

On top of that, Tennessees only 2 touchdowns came off turnovers. For some reason, UGA was able to stump Tenn before they would even get into field goal position UNTIL we turned it over, and then their next drive was inexplicably unstoppable.

UGA still has some work to do, but after today the Georgia/Florida game will decide the SEC East and as good as Florida looks on offense, UGA looks to be a much better overall team. UGA's offensive line, very young, looked like they were starting to get it today (sound familiar from last year?) and Stafford's passing game has finally reached that certain level where he can make magic happen if he needs to.

I have to take the time to talk about Massaquoi again. He took an absolute BRUTAL helmet contact hit to his chest that leveled him for a good 5 minutes. On his back, on the sidelines. Finally got up and started dancing around like nothing was wrong. Next drive, a beautiful TD pass to an untouched Mo-Ma in the endzone. Definately the play of the game. For all the talk that UGA just didn't have that "intangible" that a BCS title contender has, and it was only against a 0-3 Tennessee, but UGA is showing signs of having that quality.

I think thats everything today. Sanford Stadium was once again a great place to be as the students stayed in game until midway the 4th quarter.

Again, Big Game Bob who? For all the talk that the SEC would cannibalize itself, the contenders in the Big XII might do it moreso.

Just got back from the Oregon State - Washington State game.

This just in: Washington State sucks. Like, really, really sucks. Like "I'm not sure how they beat a FCS team in Portland State" bad.

Other than USC (which still needs Oregon State to lose to clinch a win out and championship), the Pac-10 is pretty wide open. Cal might be the second best team, but Oregon and Oregon State might also be in that conversation. Hell, Stanford has looked pretty good so far as well and could sneak in there.

Of coure, will any of those teams going to the Holiday Bowl even show up against the 3rd place Big 12 team? You could probably put the spread in the Holiday Bowl right now as Pac 10 #2 +two touchdowns against Big 12 #3 and I would still take the Big 12.

I was watching the score ticker at the game and realized that I had missed my 10, 9, 8 and 7 picks in Pick'Em, thinking I was going to plummet down the standings. Looks like my 20 points for the week actually were above average. What a crazy week in college football.

And UCLA is holding close with Oregon right now in the fourth quarter. Come on, Bruins!

I think that percentage is wrong. It's got me listed as 100% and 14th overall. I think that's the position I would have been in had I had my current score before today, rather than my current score after today.

Yeah this and calling the possible interception that OU had in the endonze incomplete really both confused the hell out of me. ESPN claimed that the rule is you have to maintain possession after you hit the ground (this was in regards to the OU play...didn't really say anything about the one in the ND game). So I'm assuming they used the same "logic" on that one.

I still think it is bullshit though. That's the first time I've ever heard that explanation.

Actually you might know how most ND fans feel about the ND/USC "Bush Push" game a few years back. I'm not even talking about the actual push, but the way they handled the play before that. Spot was God-awful and USC had coaches running off the sidelines calling a timeout they didn't have. Then of course that push was just the big wind-up and kick in the nuts.

They played impressively, but I don't think they jump Bama. Top top 3 will be Bama, Texas, PSU, then it's wide open...I really have no idea who they put where. Maybe OU at 4, Florida 5, I dunno. Really is wide open.

It doesn't tell me how great their defenses are...it tells me that it's a combination of a decent run D and an inept running game, combined with playing from behind when you need to throw the ball.

Even with 3 INTs, how can you say it's a defensive game when the QB is completeing 90+% of the throws?

Meh. It's not like Wisconsin did much to make everyone think "omg they're so great" - they struggled to beat an overrated Fresno State team (who as since lost to a weak Hawaii squad) and rolled over two patsies.

Wisconsin hasn't fallen apart, they just weren't great (and were overrated - everyone is looking for the "great white hype" to come out of the Big-10) to start with. Now that they're done with the 2 hardest games of their schedule they'll be ok, it's just a question of how they actually compare to Illinois, Michigan State, and (wtf?) Minnesota... Even next week's Iowa game should be competitive, sadly.

MEANWHILE, I'm goddamn excited about PSU.

They really looked like the real deal today, and I don't think they've completely opened up the offensive playbook yet. I saw them run the option for the first time this year for a TD (when Clark got nailed hard)...and I really am surprised they haven't run it more yet. With a smart, mobile QB like him I have been expecting him to run it a lot more. I see them using the QB draw a lot next week so Ohio State is looking for it, only for Clark to throw all over them.

Barring a complete meltdown, I don't see how PSU could lose to Michigan at home for homecoming. Then going to OSU...that I'm a bit worried about. Going off common opponents, PSU has looked much more impressive @ Wiscy and @ Purdue (while OSU had Purdue at home and scored no offensive TDs). However you can never count OSU out. If Pryor/Tressel figures out how to run a red zone offense soon it could be a problem.

To be honest the team I'm most worried about is Michigan State. They're so hit and miss I don't know what to expect.

I dunno. I know like 94% went with VandY ( was one of the 6%, gogo), but we'll see tomorrow I guess.

The thing is, Foster got two steps in bounds and made a football move WITH POSSESSION, then the ground forced the ball out. Thus he had possession, and since the ground can't cause a fumble, it should have been down there.

God, I need to stop thinking about it. We won that's all that matters.
