Damn, back to 4 touchdowns. We were so close!

Seriously, though, this is the 4th year out of 5 that we've had a long distance east coast trip to major school to start the season. Mike Reilly is a great teacher and a solid game coach, but not such a great recruiter. Because of this, we've been an awful team in September, a mediocre team in October, and have the Pac-10's best record in Nov-Dec-Jan the last couple of years (yes, even better than USC). But that sets up these early season games as just demoralizing blowouts, and losses to freaking Stanford in the first game of the season.

The team is mostly sophomores and juniors, so I think we'll be pretty good next year, but this could be a long year. I'm just hoping we get our act together in decent enough time to beat the Ducks and make a bowl game.

Washington got fucked out of an overtime by the refs. Seriously. The call on Locker for excessive celebration was total bullshit. BYU did play great though.

Notre Dame still sucks. If they come back and win, I'll expect it, but they shouldn't. They deserve to lose. They are absolutely horrible. Would be their first loss to an out of BCS school since 1896. Think it was to the College of Physicians and Surgeons or someshit. (University of Chicago-Illinois now.)

Wasn't worried about Wisconsin, but they started slow. Michigan looked bad. tOSU needs to worry about next week.

WVU is getting exposed right now. They don't play well against physical defenses.

Ole Miss looking pretty good against Wake Forest. Wake's pretty good this year, and to have a bottom-half SEC school right up there with them is pretty nice for the conference.
