I bet the Ohio State/USC pointspread does some heavy moving this week.

USC would've destroyed OSU with Wells anyway.

I was just pleased to see that after only throwing 10 passes last week, Wisconsin's Allan Evridge threw for over 300 yards this week. Apparently we might just have both parts of our offense going.

Miami is doing surprisingly well. I thought they would get destroyed by Florida by now.

I'm sure Florida will storm out the second half.

In other news, ACC further proves how sucky they are with Maryland getting beaten up on by Middle Tennessee.

Wow, huge call right there. The elbow was in bounds, but he definitely didn't hold on to the ball right there...

This South Florida - Central Florida game is pretty exciting, too.

Oh, rofl. WSU is god awful this year. Cal's looking pretty good though. Their first game against MSU wasn't very good though. D: Defense was iffy.

Little late to the party, just got back from ND and watching that God-awful game. If it weren't for SD State dropping passes left and right at the beginning of the game, ND probably would've had too far to come back. If we play like this the rest of the season, this will likely be our only win though -- the words "Thank God Cal Poly isn't on our schedule" was actually uttered by me in the 3rd quarter. Jimmy Clausen also looked rather horrid and has a horrible case of tunnel vision. If my sister can figure out where he is throwing the ball every pass play, I'm sure the opposing defense is as well.

Other thoughts from the weekend: Washington got screwed horribly and that rule needs to die. tOSU really seems to be missing Wells based on how their game went. Damn me for not trusting my gut and picking against East Carolina again.

Really didn't see much Michigan/Miami (OH) hi-lights, score didn't look pretty, but that doesn't really tell the story of the game. Regardless, the annual ND/Michigan game isn't really shaping up to be anything great again this year and I am quite worried that Michigan will come into South Bend and really find their stride against us.

I might be in for a long season yet again...

The UGA representation here is sorely lacking.

Also, is it just me or did Florida look ineffective. Miami has improved a lot under Shannon, but outside of the 2nd half of the 4th quarter, Florida looks like their offense was struggling just as much as Miami's. Tebow's numbers were ok, but Florida needs to decide what theyre going to do offensively soon with Tebow, Hawaii and Miami have exposed Florida vulnerability imho.

Also, what is it with ESPN's Tebow 4 Heisman dicksucking? Knowshon Moreno had his 2nd 3 touchdown game in a row and HURDLED a standing defender last game, and all ESPN shows is a 10 second montage of junk shots of the UGA game when they spent 10 mins of footage with Beanie on the sidelines signing autographs. Moreno should be #2 or #3 in the Heisman watch hands down along with Chase Daniel and Sam Bradford.

Okay. First.. I don't mind UGA. SEC represent, etc.

Second, Florida didn't look bad late in the second half. They just couldn't click early on, and Miami did look better. Young team with pretty much nothing to play for (except a conference championship considering the rest of the ACC looks like ass.) Tebow didn't need to win them the game though, so it was spread out a bit. Florida's vulnerability imo is their defense. A positive for them this year is they don't play Auburn. =P They are 0-2 against AU with Tebow on the roster.

Tebow's a good player, but you know how ESPN is. They have to cocksuck someone. It's hard to cheer on highlights when Knowshon Moreno and UGA plays dogshit for teams. You have to admit that. Central Michigan isn't bad with their stud of a QB, but Georgia Southern? Come on. Florida at least played a team from the Sugar Bowl last year (doesn't matter if they suck horribly this year), and Miami in an intrastate rivalry; highlights from those games look better than Georgia-Southern/Central Michigan highlights.

As far as the Heisman, Tebow hasn't looked like he did last year, but he has more weapons this time. I like Chase Daniel, Bradford, and Moreno though. Thing is, other than Chase Daniel... Bradford and Moreno just haven't played anyone yet. We need to give it another couple weeks imo.

Wow, I've spent this entire day contemplating boycotting ESPN. You hit the nail on the head. I woke up this morning after watching that play 20+ times on Tivo and wanted to hear what SC had to say. I nearly ruined my 50inch plasma after they showed shitty stock footage of decent plays. While he only got 5ish more yards after HE HURDLED A MAN it was still one of the best plays of the season so far.

And the Heisman race "frontrunners" is also a joke. While Teabow should be at/near the front (as much as I despise anything blue/orange he is one of the crazy athletes you rarely see), it is sad seeing somebody who ran for 160 yards and 3 TDs (making it 6 total for the season) not even get mentioned. Did I mention HE HURDLED A MAN?

It's great to be a Dawg fan in Athens but it sucks when looking at your team from a national standpoint. Very little interest when the media is tunnel visioned on the Big 3- USC, UF, and OSU (who I am betting goes to the national championship again just to piss me off to the brink).

I'm glad that we got our two cupcake games out of the way and that we can now focus on playing SEC teams (and ASU who is decent and should peak some interest). It'll be interesting to see how SCAR reacts to their abysmal performance in the 2nd half on Thursday. I fucking hate them because no matter how shitty their season is they still always play their best to fuck us over.

That felt good to get off my chest.

Nice rant. It's Tebow.* /grammarhammer. At least spell the man's name right. We might dislike the fact that he's the media darling, but let's spell his name correctly. =P

Other than Wisconsin, the Big 10 offers no true threat to OSU once they get Beanie back. They could run the table after losing to USC next weekend, and sitll end up in the National Championship. That's what really stinks. Good news is I'd think a 1/2 loss SEC team gets in the National Championship against a 1 loss OSU.

Curtis Painter and Purdue. That spread offense under Tiller is no joke.

I'm calling it now, Boilermakers will pull off the upset.
