Even though it was a battle for the Big Ten Basement Purdue/Michigan was one of the best games I have seen in awhile.

Normally gutless Joe Tiller decided to call a fake punt in a tie game in the 4th quarter on Purdue's own 30ish yard line and completely faked me out having me think that the ball was snapped over the head of the punter. All I was thinking about is how special teams blew another play with a bad snap and I all of a sudden see a linebacker running down the sideline with the ball.

Purdue looked to have won the game on a 4th down stop and gets flagged for a questionable pass-interference call where it looked like the DB barely grazed the WR from the replay on the jumbotron. There was a slight bit of contact, but nothing you would call at the end of a game. Michigan went in to score after that call.

The entire crowd is booing hard from the PI call even a few plays after it happened and Purdue is trying to get a field goal with 1 minute left in the game.

A WR catches the ball roughly inside FG range and the ball immediately comes flying out of his hands for the hook and lateral for the winning TD when all I could think right after the first catch was that he was bobbling and dropping a perfect pass.

3rd string QB Justin Siller looked like an athlete that couldn't throw the ball last week and all of a sudden looked like Drew Brees this week. I guess it is just him having the time to prepare for QB in the last week. If Painter gets the starting QB job back if he gets healthy, I'll be pissed.

Too bad No-shon was more worried about that roll than gaining any yardage this week. I turned that shit off after Stafford's second pick, and I'm glad I did, Pitt/ND was a great game.

Also a good SEC win for Arkansas over Tulsa, another example of why I don't buy non-BCS teams being ranked until they beat somebody respectable.

Oh don't get me wrong. I watched ND/Pitt too. Watching that game was both exciting and hard. There was some horrible play calling by ND, especially the 4th down draw play at the 50 yard line before the half. The Brandon Spikes thing was hilarious though in the UF/UGA game.

Also, time for some fireworks! The hype this game got.. there better be 80+ points scored. I expect NO defense tonight. Don't let me down!

Sad day for CU, left a lot of points on the field. Credit to A&M for coming up with some clutch INTs though, and coming up with a lot of points in the 3rd quarter.

The beginning of the OU/Nebraska game made it a little better at least.

I'd be more inclined to agree about Florida if Bama hadn't gotten up 31-0 before coasting.

true, we never learned to complete a game until last week with Tennessee and the cake walk with Arkansas St. (pretty sad 35-0 and ASU had more ToP). However, Im still wary of other teams first LSU in the bayou luckily kickoff at 2:30, MissSt. who upset last year, and as always Auburn. Barring a fuckup next would be Florida, who I think might beat us but would be an awesome game.

Stanford 58 - Washington St. 0 (I know Stanford is improved, but still a mediocre team)

How do teams get this bad in a major conference? It's not exaggerating saying that all these 1-AA schools have given better games to good teams than Washington and WSU.

holy shit graham harrell looks awesome against texas. rarely watch tech tbh, but the few times I have they looked good but its usually against a team that isn't exactly great. I'm wowed at how he can throw so far off one foot while being passed rushed.

Yeah. I saw that. Being outscored 100-0 in their games tonight is so very bad. I feel bad for the state of Washington in terms of sports. I think App. State could easily beat Wash/WSU though, yeah.

As far as Harrell dominating Texas... I did say that he'd do that. Texas has an incredibly soft and young core in the secondary. Texas needs to get control of the line though and quick.

Also, they did look impressive against Oklahoma though, but after seeing Oklahoma's previous games... not nearly as impressive. Their defense gave up 30+ to Kansas and K-State, not to mention a ton of yards.

Either way, I hope this ends up being like 45-41 or something by the end.
