I do agree about PSU, and especially OU. I'm sorry. I know, jump out and score 49/55 points in the first half, but play some damn defense. Please. ><

He's pro when it comes to road games, but I didn't like that crap he pulled last year.

And the other thing; the pick. There was a penalty on that play that was correctly called. That's why there was no pick. Maybe you should discipline the players before they take the field for a big game.

Exactly! UGA fans are bitter and can never give credit where credit is due. They just got their ass kicked. lolMoreno, Mr I want props for hurdling Chippewas but suck when I play the Gators and Tide.

There's always next year for da dawgz.

I don't think he's denying the penalty was a bad call, he's just pointing out that if it hadn't been called back, UGA would've been sitting in a better position. I don't know what the Knowshon "fumble" is referring to, the only one I remember seeing is when he muffed that pitch.

And Kirin, that score WAS the blowout it was. For every time Stafford picked out an open Green or Massaquoi, he made an equally poor decision. Florida's defense bent a little in the secondary, but their frontline was stout and kept Moreno bottled up pretty much all day. And yeah, it helped Florida that UGA couldn't even make field goals. Maybe UGA should do what Mike Leach did and find a walk-on kicker. QQ

EDIT: I will say, the only time Georgia got gypped was on a blown spot on 3rd down. That was the only thing I can really find fault with, but whatever. There's always next year.

I really don't see a significant problem in the AP poll. Tech is also far more likely to lose in the last few weeks due to their games against other high ranked teams (Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, and then the Big 12 championship), PSU has MSU and that's about it. Not really an excuse, but PSU looks more likely to stay unbeaten.

That shouldn't matter for this week's poll, in my opinion. I would almost buy Tech being #1 this week more than #2, why have them jump ahead of PSU but not Bama? They're very similar teams, and is there really a difference between PSU being idle and Bama waxing Arkansas State? It doesn't matter anyway, Tech's ranking in the polls is a catch-22. If Tech beats Okie St, OU and wins the Big XII Championship, then they should be #1. If they lose any of those games, PSU is safe, barring an upset (or rogue Florida/OU/USC voters...)

The fact is, it's not for us to decide. It's voters and the computers. We just get to poke fun/pick at it while it happens.

My opinion is if Tech held on and pounded Texas, winning convincingly without the need to win in almost the last second... I could see them jump both teams, but as it stands, I don't think so. Their defense really caved at the end of the game. I didn't see it so much as "Colt McCoy heating up" as much as "Texas Tech's defense wearing down". Also, TT should be happy they aren't #1. #1 = death spot. Bama will lose to LSU next week. Almost a lock of the year from me.

I think Saban will have them prepared enough for LSU, but I think they'll have a letdown and lose to Miss. State or Auburn. =\

Maybe Auburn can finally get that offense working by the end of the season. It's always possible I suppose

I'm starting to wonder if TCU could be a BCS buster, even with one loss. Probably not, but it would be interesting to see how they'd do with that much time to gameplan.

Of course theres blatant UGA homerism. If theres one game im going to be complately partial in rationalizing the loss its the Florida game. As far as im concerned UGA should have won that game 49-10 and gotten ready to make the streak 3-0 next year. But we'll settle for what will be 2-1 for the Stafford vs Timmy era.

Urban Cryer is a classless hack that won a national title using Ron Zooks players. Timmy is not a QB.

Comparing Urban to Bellichek is fair, they're both classless goons. You dont flat out NOT shake the opposing coaches hand. Thats just being a crybaby that a dance got the better of their team last year. 49-10 should be enough of a drub, but not shaking Richt's hand is just downright foul play.

The penalty on the interception had no bearing on the interception. Should have been added to the end of the play and not a redo the down.

Gator girls do the chomp, but give the clap. The hate runs deep, I don't worry myself about being partisan when it comes to jean short wearing backwater croonies.

    Hi2u Larry Coker.

Back when Rich Rodriguez was rumored to be coming to Bama, I told my friend (a Penn State fan) I'd rather not have a "gimmicky" coach because that shit doesn't fly in the SEC. He always said Rodriguez, Meyer and other spread option guys were "Spurrier-like" but I disagree, Florida just used to line up and kill you with speed rather than with an unconventional system. Meyer, and to a certain extent Les Miles, are guilty of inheriting a ton of talent, but they've made the most of it. We'll see if they can last longer than Coker did.

What's ironic is now Rodriguez is at Michigan, where my same friend is now saying he won't last in the Big Ten.

I didn't see the handshake from my seat in Jacksonville due to the account I was finishing my flask in an attempt to forget the previous 4 hours, can someone explained what happened? I've heard that it was a quick handshake, that you could see that Richt was pissed, and a few other things. Can someone throw me a quick, unbiased synopsis?

Also, that second half was probably the most horrible thing I've ever sat through. The fourth quarter was hell as all but 1 of my friends left but there was no way I was walking out. I gave hell of Gators last year when we won and I sure wasn't going to leave my Dawgs so I just took the verbal beating (I was first in line for away tickets so my seat was the first seat in the UGA/UF divide in the student section). Hopefully Richt can use this for motivation (similar to the OSU locker combo from 2006 and the 188 pushups from UF).

Congrats to UF and while I blindly-hate anything Orange and Blue I hope you stomp the shit out of Bama (unless you feel like losing 2 SEC games before then) in the Championship. Good game and we'll see you next year.

***Haven't seen the game from my DVR yet so can't comment on much of the specific plays***

It was just your typical "Coaches who dislike each other, quick handshake" sort of thing. That's probably why he was pissed as people may say. I figured there'd be something like that. Richt was probably irked because Meyer didn't kneel the clock out, and chose to use up all of his timeouts.
