Yeah. This is the first time I can agree with a lot of what you said, except the Bama thing. I don't think their offense is you know.. Florida/Big 12 level, but it's not complete garbage.

Also, I think I left Oklahoma State out as far as run games go, and if I did, then my bad seriously. I COMPLETELY forgot about them. They are an easy team to forget, honestly with Texas/Texas Tech/Oklahoma and all. D: My bad.

And yeah, I agree that TT isn't 5 TDs better than OSU. OSU is the best 2 loss team in the country, but really.. is that saying something? Ya know, I've never understood the concept of "the best 2/3/4 loss team in the country." Sort of like the Saints being the best 5 loss team in the NFL. Who really cares since you have that many losses D: Haha.

I'm extremely surprised that I don't want to argue with you tooth and nail about certain things. These are the types of stats and such I could see going both ways in terms of arguments. Good show, Plow! You didn't piss me off today.

One quick thing; I agree about the VT/Nebraska thing. The thing is, no one knows how good VT or anyone in the ACC for that matter is. VT rocks Maryland, who in turn beats UNC this past weekend who had a good record, who beat so and so. The ACC isn't horrible in my opinion, it's just extremely average where everyone in the division just about can win it.

VT loss seemed like nothing at the time, huuuuge disappointment at this point. With it Nebraska's not even ranked, without it Nebraska's prob 15ish atm and all of KU's losses are would be to teams that were top 20 at the time.

Gonna laugh if it happens. TBH, I think Alabama likes all of this "It'll be <Insert Big XII here> vs. Florida for the National title. I haven't seen but maybe two analysts say that Alabama COULD beat Florida. Everyone else is riding all over that Gator cock.

Not saying Florida isn't better than Alabama though. They'd be the more attractive pull in a game, but don't underestimate em. Remember; they aren't even supposed to be here.

As much as it wold own me in that argument, I would love to see it as well. And totally agreed on not wanting to see them in the championship. (the ou losing part, not the texas losing part lol)

Some good games this week.

Dishonorable mention this week goes to Washington @ Washington State. In this year's version of the Apple Cup, a team that hasn't won a game yet this year is a 7.5 point favorite on the road against their conference arch rival. Radio hosts and columnists in the Northwest are falling all over each other this week to find interesting statistics that illustrate just how much these two teams suck.

I'm surprised the line for the Penn State game is that high. I know Penn State is at home and playing for more than Michigan State is since they control their own destiny for the Big 10 title and all...but Michigan State is a pretty good team.

I think it's more likely for OU to run the table convincingly and sneak past Texas (and Tyche implodes) than it is for Alabama to beat Florida in the SEC Championship. Granted, that's not real likely, but I'm not giving Bama a shot. And if Texas Tech loses, I'm pretty confident either Texas or Oklahoma (yes, even a Bob Stoops-coached OU) will beat Florida. However, I think, if Tech makes it to the National Championship undefeated, they'll lose to Florida. >.>; Obviously I'm ruling out a Missouri Big 12 Championship win just the same as I'm ruling out an Alabama win over Florida. So much potential incoming chaos.. oh yeah, the Beavers to the Rose Bowl.

Unless, of course, you're an Oregon State fan who has lived their entire life without ever seeing a Rose Bowl appearance. If it happens, I'll be in Pasadena on New Year's Day.

As an Oregon State fan, I can say that if the Beavers actually made it to a Rose Bowl for the first time since 1965, a rematch against Penn State wouldn't dampen the enthusiasm at all. There are a number of reasons that I would predict a closer game than the first time:

The game isn't at Penn State.
The game is on the west coast, in Oregon State's time zone.
Oregon State would be excited to be there; Penn State is at least somewhat disappointed they didn't go the NCG.
Oregon State looks at it as an opportunity for revenge; Penn State could easily be overconfident.
Oregon State's record the last three years, for the first five games of each season: 2-3, 2-3, 2-3.
Oregon State's record the last three years, from the sixth game through the end of the season: 8-1, 7-1, 5-0.
Oregon State's coach has never lost a bowl game.
Oregon State has gotten two starters back that were suspended for the first few games of the season for various reasons, and the injury bug has hit them lightly, if at all.

However, I would still predict a Penn State victory, I just can't imagine it being as one sided as the original matchup. And I would still prefer the Beavers play either Ohio State or Michigan State, just because it wouldn't be a rematch.

All that being said, Oregon State still has two very dangerous games ahead. It's one thing for message board fans to talk Rose Bowl, but the team better not start thinking about it. So far, though, Riley's done a pretty good job of keeping his players' head in the game. They had a close call in the Arizona State game a couple of weeks ago, and have seemed more focused the last couple of weeks.

They've watched tech and analyzed more tech video than you could possibly imagine. There's a reason they hang chandeliers up in casinos that are worth more than our houses combined, and it isn't because of a urinal conversation between LVSC members ted and walter.

I'm glad they didn't just go all-out for rivalry games and seemed to pick most of the best ones. It would have sucked deciding our league w/ the top 3 w/in 2 points of each other with a game like Washington / Washington St.
