The home plate umpire is Australian and from watching one inning only, I've already seen some questionable strikes on the outside corner.

nah, there just isn't anything else worth watching on TV atm. this is the only olympics that i've actually sat through. so far the only event that i've watched that i wish i didn't was the men's syncronized swimming. :uke::
