    Thats their entire roster.
Fowler, LaPorta, Strasburg (#1 pick next year) and Teagarden aren't too shabby. Most teams didn't send out their top prospects due to health risks and you sure as fuck aren't getting any of the premium pitching prospects. In terms of MLB talent; I think it'll be USA > DR > Japan > Cuba

    Off the top of my head the premium players from DR are;

    Manny
    Hanley
    Jose Reyes
    Cano
    Vlad Guerrero
    David Ortiz
    Pujols
    Soriano

..and zero in terms of starters, unless you wanna roll with Volquez.

    USA is loaded:
    Hitters
    ARod
    Jeter
    Utley
    Wright
    Howard
    Holliday
    Braun
    Fielder
    Longoria
    Texiera
    Sizemore
    Morneau
    Mauer
    Hamilton

    Pitchers
    Halladay
    Sabathia
    Harden
    Beckett
    Chamberlain
    Lincecum
    Webb

Missing some obviously and half of these might not even play (Longoria/Lincecum/Joba) but that's A LOT to choose from. It would be a slaughter, the only thing that would be a concern is injuries in the heat of a pennant race. Japan might be a wild card though, those fuckers are sneaky with their fundamental bullshit.

I like Brian Mcann over mauer(yes Im a braves fan) as well as chipper jones has to be there too. Dan uggla as well, just to name a few, but I totaly agree, the agruement however was that MLB players played in the game, when they didnt. I'd add cole hamels amd john lester to picthers as well.

Arrgh. Mike Brown came so close to winning Canada's first medal in the 200 Breast stroke but finished a tenth of a second behind the third place swimmer.

As far as softball goes, bring it on Kyo lol.

I just read that CBC isn;t even going to show it live, their gonna broadcast it tomorrow at 6pm. Fucking gay. They're gonna show gymnastics instead of softball. I was already tired of gymnastics after the first day. Guess I'll have to stream the game.

I'm going to a theme park tomorrow, but I'm going to tough it out and watch softball tonight unless it gets out of hand early. Then I'm waking up to see the US spank Greece. God I'm going to be so fucking tired tomorrow.

What's really cool to me is that what makes Nastia hot is really the fact that she's *so* damn good. (especially on bars and beam)

The smoothness of her work, the way she's so perfectly straightened on the handstands, when she's swinging her legs are like a perfect quarter inch apart, when her legs are extended they're perfectly straight, etc., it all adds up to absolutely beautiful gymnastics, which looks, well, beautiful.

That and the fact that she pretty much has the best ass in the history of mankind.

And the only other people they're showing are the other Americans, who look like men (lol @ tiny shawn johnson's massive pro wrestler shoulders and half inch neck), and the chinese girls who are either ass ugly or 8 years old.

If you're going to insult the others, don't forget Nastia's huge like xbox forehead. Seriously, I could eat dinner off that thing.

Oh wow, japanese guy took a horrible fall there.

You Americans may be lucky because Canada's best pitcher isn't playing. We'll see how this goes.

And let's not make excuses for losing before the game even starts. I don't think our best pitcher played the first game and a no-no was still thrown

I'm watching it streamed with no commentators. Why is the umpire and the U.S. coach gathered on the mound with the pitcher for?
