It wasn't even an earned run/ We gave it to you. We're still pitching a no hitter.

I have to give Meier credit. She gave up a home run to the first Dutch player she faced yesterday but I'm surprised at how well she is pitching so far tonight.
Canada may be saved for now by rain >.>
Oh fuck, here comes the rain >.<
Lmao with all the money China invested in the games, they can't afford a fucking tarp for the field during a rain delay? >.<
Seriously, what the fuck is that high bar made out of.
Yeah, the Japanese are fucking up left and right.
They finally got the tarp on the field. Only took them 5 minutes. Lol @ China. I hope this doesn't fuck up the field. This has the potential to be a great game and I don't want it to be marred by potential field/running errors that can happen to both teams because the Chinese don't know how to fucking maintain the field.
He's referring to the groundskeepers. And phelps doesn't go for another gold til tomorrow night. Tonight was Semi's
The first part is in reference to the Japanese gymnasts. Two of them have been having problems with some events. One guy landed on his shoulder after dismounting from the rings and they messed up on the pommel horse. The second paragraph is about the softball game between Canada and the U.S.
Oh. balls.
Is Fowler the only black dude on team USA?![]()
Still in a rain delay. Canada vs. Cuba in baseball early in the morning so off to bed I go lol.
We've already mentioned her fuckability.. but we'll forgive you cause.. damn, those are some good pictures of her. I didn't realize they had neatly accessible bios of the Olympic athletes. '-'
Also, I'm not sure if anyone else cares or is following the medal count, but after tonight China took the lead from us in overall medal count, which extended their gold medal lead.
Total medals
China - 32
USA - 31
Gold medals
China - 20
USA - 10
Silver medals
China - 7
USA - 8
Bronze medals
China - 5
USA - 13
Are we going to be able to catch up?![]()
NBC needs to lose exclusive rights to the Olympics. WTF @ the bold and capitalized letters L-I-V-E, when in fact it is not live.
Edit: We have beach volleyball medals, track and field medals, and basketball medals (to name a few) still to come. China has... nothing major left that i can think of off the top, they have long stated that they were aiming for Diving and Gymnastic dominance while in Beijing.
So we've got another 3 gold medals from Phelps in swimming, hopefully. Peirsol can get us another gold, while Lochte is probably a lock for a silver behind Phelps in the 200 IM, helping our total medal count too. Also, we've got softball and basketball for 2 gold medals, hopefully. Then say we get gold in beach volleyball and net, say, another 5 gold medals on China in track and field. That's 12-ish gold medals; what other events remain in which the USA is strong? (They've only given out like 1/3 of the total medals so far, right?)
These ‘‘guaranteed’’ gold medals you guys are talking about aren't so guaranteed for the USA. There is no clear dominance in volleyball, be it men's or women's, beach or court, but if the US is to win a gold medal in volleyball, it'll most likely be women's beach, and that's it.
Also, Jamaica and Canada (w/ their Jamaican runners) might upset Americans expecting short distance track and field gold medals.
And let's not forget Argentina is the current olympic champion in men's basketball, although the US have a much better team this time around.
Nowhere was a medal guaranteed, first of all. Second of all, the idea isn't to shoot down the possibility of catching China. (more so in the gold medal count than the overall medal count; it's easy to see us getting our lead back in total medals) The idea is to to see how we can catch China.. if we even can. I know no gold medal is a given, as should anyone who watched the Men's 4x 100m Freestyle Final or any of the infinite number of upsets to have happened in Olympic competition. China already has a 10-gold-medal lead on us, which is going to be a pretty significant hurdle to overcome. That's why I want to know what other events in which we're supposed to be in medal contention, not why we won't win gold in the events where our team is strong.
Also, it's too bad Sullivan didn't beat Bernard in the 100m Free. A gold-less Bernard would've been perfect after his public trash talking.![]()
So who's awake for the men's basketball.
