Puts all emphasis on the fencers. Helps a bit for the judges not to be distracted by the crowd he's facing.

I don't know if this was mentioned earliar in the thread, but it apears that several of the Chinese Gymnast are under age. I was watching the gymnastics the other day, and i even told my gf that these girls seem very young. But even if it's proven and they get there gold taken away, i'd have to say they are damn good for thier age.

I think one of the commentator dudes said earlier that younger bitches are actually better at competitions because they dont feel the pressure as much as the veterans and have a lower chance at fucking up.

Women's gymnastics is very much related to physical size. Girls do so damn well in gymnastics because they have not developed the features that make them less limber and less well-balanced (read tits and asses, although for most girl gymnasts that's not likely an issue anyway). Their lightness helps them move more easily on the apparatuses and diminishes the drawback of not having much muscle when you only weigh like 87 lbs and are 4'6". That's why most female gymnasts hit 20 or so and are just told to gtfo, their own physiology works against what is required by the judges and the sport to excel at the highest levels.

The opposite is true of male gymnasts. Men's gymnastics puts more emphasis on strength (just look at them doing rings routines, that is some amazing fucking strength and control right there), and males don't grow into their full physical potential until their early to mid 20s. That's why you get comments about male gymnasts being "young" at 19 and more in their prime at 25.

Local Radio station was talking about the possibility of the Chinese girls and their ages. Says at least one girl is 13 years old. A Chinese newpaper posted the story on their website, which was later expunged from the site.

Me and my dad were perving it up watching beach volleyball, it is, as Tyche said, easy on the eyes.

I think it's been proven that the Chinese team had underaged members and will probably be disqualified.
