For a while there I thought the head of the judges was gonna turn into Muu Buxu and go apeshit on people. It was looking like they were scoring the Chinese higher and shitting the Americans, especially with all the time they'd spend calculating. One thing I liked about the swimming events..no scoring judges.

I gotta say though, I loved watching Nastia perform. Gold Medal well deserved. Me hope she come back for the 2012 games. That beautiful thing she does where it looks like she's posing as a Swan and her leg archs up in the air on the balance beam is awesome.

I have to say, I was looking at some of the shooting events and they seem kinda like bullshit to me considering the rifle designs and calibers. 65-70 seconds a shot? Hell, archery has to fire off 6 arrows in 4 min. However, seeing the 1-2 was excellent as well as phelps. They just need to rename his ass Jaws.

i doubt she'll be back for 2012, she'll be too old.

And the reason the chinese been getting such good scores is not only the home crowd bias, but also because they attempt higher degree of difficulties.

Arguably this is because they are cheaters and they are able to do it because they are underage and all the benefits that go with it (added flexibility, lighter, etc.). i was reading an article on how they judge and it said the chinese can make many more mistakes and still get a good score due to the level of difficulty.

The arguments about the judges being biased was more aimed at the Men's Team finals then the Womens. While I think China would have run the Gold regardless, especially on the scoring for the High Bar routines, there was a very obvious bias towards the Chinese.

The Women's, well yeah. Hello 13 year olds.

And Dominique Dawes was on the Team for 3 straight Olympics, being 24 when she competed at Sydney, so it's still very possible for Johnson and Lukin to be on the team in 2012.
