Well. I missed a lot because my Mac fizzled on me and I watched TNA wrestling and had to go to bed early for work so time for a recap.

I caught the end of gymnastics before I went to work and I'm glad the chinese bitch didn't win. Bunch of cheaters.

Canada almost won a bronze in the men's shotput but the Canadian guy got beat out by ONE CM >.<

On to the softball. Well the U.S. beat Canada 8-1 but that score doesn't reflect the end result. The Americans didn't score till the 6th and blew it open. I'm not trying to make excuses but Canada had to play the rest of that game 30 minutes after they beat China so that had to have been some sort of factor. What time did the U.S. play their other game yesterday? I'm really looking forward to the playoff round here.

In women's soccer, the U.S. beat Canada in extra time and from what I've heard, it was a close game. Canada did very well considering they didn't have much of a chance against the top team in the world.

And the reason the chinese been getting such good scores is not only the home crowd bias, but also because they attempt higher degree of difficulties.

Arguably this is because they are cheaters and they are able to do it because they are underage and all the benefits that go with it (added flexibility, lighter, etc.). i was reading an article on how they judge and it said the chinese can make many more mistakes and still get a good score due to the level of difficulty.

It wasn't the higher degree of difficulty, Nastia had the highest start value on the bars and I think the beam, but the performance deductions were harsh, whereas the deductions for the chinese girls were very very weak. Doesn't really matter in the end tho, as we still took 1-2

Team USA played Japan at 12:00AM EDT (August 15) and won 7-1 while Canada played China at 9:45PM EDT (August 14) and won 3-2. Their game resumed at 2:45AM EDT.. so take that for what you will.
