So far USA has only surrendered 2 hits in 3 games, not too bad eh, also Kang, TNA wrestling seriously?

Too bad about the Canadian softball team. From what I read their downfall started with a number of fielding errors, which is not all that surprising given the length of play time they had that day. The US pitcher seemed to be on fire that day too however.

Canadian baseball team meets the US either tomorrow or Saturday (our time), which should be interesting. The loss to the Republic of Korea was regrettable, but their pitcher gave up something like 5 hits his entire game.

Canada v. US women's soccer was a great game I hear. The fact that the Canadian ladies kept it scoreless during regulation time really says something about their talent this year in keeping off the top ranked team in the world only to lose in extra time. I hope they find themselves finishing in the top 6 this year - that would be great.

I remember this last night. I think the Chinese girl had the exact same (total) amount of deductions as the american girl when the Chinese girl had like 6 balance checks and a mediocre dismount. Can't remember if it was Shawn or Nastia but they had 0 balance checks and a similar dismount and got the same amount of deductions... Was pretty shady when I saw it but we won anyway :D

I loved watching the womens gymnastics last night! I thought some of the scores were a bit weird, but Nastia (lol weird name?) and Shawn were amazing and deservedly won their medals. Are there more gymnastic events tonight?

I think that does it for Gymnastics this year.

Nastia's father was a Russia Olympian who moved to the US and had her, so that explains the different name.

Nastia's name is hot. '-' And I think they still have Men/Women's individual events left to do, so hopefully she can get another gold in bars. I'm pretty sure that crazy Chinese guy will win all the individual events except pommel horse, in which that American should win. If you've never seen his pommel horse routine, keep your TVs on.

Single apparatus finals last until Monday I think.

Artemev's Pommel horse routine is awesome, but I don't think he even scored highest during the Team Finals.

Gymastics this year has issues, with the scoring (taking forever to put up scores, alot of weird scoring for the Chinese routines, especially that Chinese girls Balance beam routine last night, no way she should be wearing a bronze) and the Women's team obviously having underage competitors. I seriously doubt anything will come out that, I can't see anyone actually admitting to them being underage out of fear of reprisal against the government.

Japan.. they were totally not with it in the whole event at all. That fall that one japanese player took on the rings, I felt so bad for him, I know he was counting on doing well on the rings to get his country back up the ranks. You'd think it'd be an all out battle between China and Japan, but it wasn't like that at all.

And Nastia will be about 23 by 2012 and Shawn is 16, so she will be 20. It would be Nastia's last come 2012 and Shawn will have 2 more. This is all assuming they pass the trails to even make it to the Olympics again.

Edit: Japanese player was actually Korean. Korea wasn't too much in this either.
