Simply amazing by Phelps. Not only did he get 8 golds, which will never be topped ever, he had records in each race, 7 worlds and 1 olympic. The greatest athlete of all time in the summer games I must say.

Congrats to Cochran for getting Canada's first swimming olympic medal in 8 years with a bronze in the men's 1500m free. Canadians set about 24 PBs and had a dozen top eight finishes in swimming. Great results. This really was the fastest pool of all time.

Or so he says. He'll care if someone breaks it, and I'm totally interested in his reaction if he doesn't break Michael Johnsons 200M record which is pegged as unbreakable. With all that speed, he should run flat out. I don't like his showboating attitude either, but I love speed and you gotta love it if you wanna run fast. But you can't run forever, so he better make the most of his record breaking.
