ESPN wants olympics rights in 2014 and 2016

I hope they get it. Someone mentioned before that ESPN/ABC would be great for the olympics since they have so many stations.

NBC's coverage, or lack thereof, is just beyond gay.

Here in Canada, CBC is covering most of the games while The Sports Network (TSN and is associated with ESPN) covers a little. This is actually good because CBC and TSN are two separate networks working together.

In 2010 and 2012 TSN's parent company CTV will be doing all the coverage while CBC is out of luck. Luvkily. CTV will have like 5-6 stations to cover the olympics. Something that ESPN can do and I hope they do if they win the bid.

meh ran into the same problem I had with the BBC site. apparently they're region locking coverage so people from each country has to go to their own broadcasters' website. how gay
