I bought the piano collections for the music, the in game piano was sweet. If they do decide to sell something more interesting then a cheap trinket I could get at a flea market then maybe I'll buy somethin.

-Custom Made Statues of our characters
- CoP Rings

I'm saying the Tidal Talisman is probably something from FFXI that we are unfamiliar with... but important enough to make a fuckin' piece of jewelry out of. Hence, something pivotal from future WotG storyline. The in-game item is either hat/boots/gloves/weapon/body/pants or furnishing... something visible that lets every other player know that you wasted real currency on something minimally aesthetic.

Its late August release date kinda says 'not in the game yet' to me, that puts it really close to the next update. Beyond that, it would have to be something that's not integral to game play.

The ingame bonus will allow you to have a personalized FF style theme song w/has the range of "say." This theme song will vary between "running," "being engaged to an enemy," "death," and "casting." But it will not replace the Chocobo music

I've always held that using Flee should briefly replace the in-game music with the theme from 3D Worldrunner.

My girlfriend is a goldsmith, and if I bought something that looked like that, especially related to FFXI...well, I think I just won't.

SE has never added an "in-game item" reward that has had any effect at all on game balance, and I doubt they ever will do such a thing.

Moogle caps are pretty hax. But technically you cant really rmt those so idk.

This made me lol. I'd have to wager somewhere between $25-40 bucks seeing is I am sure they want to keep the item affordable, but are able to gouge everyone for $25 for a world-shift.
