I'm not paying 43 bucks but I want
SE you douchebags![]()
wow... over $40 and it's just "silver plated metal"
damn... do i want it or not... >.>
also, wow at them posting info this early in the day... most notices aren't posted until 5-8pm japan time, could mean there's a "real" update coming later
Do want
fucking cocks for making the deadline sept1, they beat the dat miners this time![]()
This is straight up bullshit. They aren't selling it to anyone except Japanese and Americans.
Time to get a friend to order it for you and ship it elsewhere like people did in the old days? (or even now with stuff like JP auction website)
Limit is 3 per person though, so the same friend could only order a few of them before you had to get someone else to order more...
Ha... I ordered it. >_> I am a dumbass for doing it I know... but... I can't resist. I have the moogle hat (JP version), the piano, the time piece, and the mini-airship. I have to collect all rare items.
I wonder what the cool down is? I bet its like like the moogle caps. Once every three days.
This is from the order page itself:
so actually sounds like EU players will get to order it, they're just trying to decide the price it seems.■FINAL FANTASY XI Original Pendant “Tidal Talisman”

― Tidal Talisman ー
A metallic pendant that surfaces only rarely from excavations of Olduum burial sites in the western reaches of Aht Urhgan, the talisman depicts the great sea serpent worshipped and feared by the ancients, coiled around the great stone pillars that were said to have held up the heavens.
Scholars of prehistory in Aht Urhgan hypothesize from observation of other burial goods that this ornament was worn by high ranking diplomats in the ancient Olduum civilization. This theory is supported by several extraordinary powers confirmed by researchers, including the ability to project phantasmal robes over the wearer’s body and enabling the wearer to teleport to distant lands in the blink of an eye.

For those ordering. Double check your confirmation email. They botched my shipping address and they didn't provide a confirmation number or any type of number to identify my order. I sent an email to the address they provided to make order changes asking for them to rectify my address, confirm my order, and provide me with a confirmation code.
Damn check the video, it ports party members in range when you use it. That is fucking awesome.
...Oh hell...
I'm going to be a consumer whore again aren't I?
Ugh...
I didn't even read the sell paragraph on it before I ordered. Sounds like a pretty cool item; taking bets on 3 day cooldown just like my nomad cap. xD
I didn't realize they were coming out with a Shadow Lord statue, the thing I was referring to was the trading arts figure that came out a few years back. I think a $10 trading arts is a bit more realistic for me to pick up over a $300 statue but I have been known to piss away money on dumber video game merchandise before(like some talisman, hmm.) -_-
