Go stick it in a dps calculator. With ideal gear/gems in every slot, and under ideal raid conditions (max expose armor, cor, etc.), 63 armor ignore + 1 agility will beat 16 crit rating by under 1 dps. Under much worse conditions, thori'dal will beat golden bow, but by around 2 dps. You would really rather give the bow to a rogue for that, over the 150 minimum dps increase to a hunter that's been raiding sunwell with you for two months? That's really a huge waste of everyones time. You might as well disenchant it and tell your hunters to go fuck themselves.

I'm going over this part because they obviously do not need the dps increase, since they have had KJ on farm for about 2 months. The only major factor it has going is the e-peen and letting hunters level without buying ammo come the expansion. They're likely to get at least 1 more bow before the expansion hits (They were 2/7 when that one dropped) anyways.

Yeah I've seen the same amount, if not more retarded tweens/fifteen year olds in FFXI as I have seen in wow.... My last guild leader was a Dentist in hollywood, was on tv a few times, and his brother an officer works on the senate.

Maybe they were the two retards who were humping my face (I made a female char) when I came back from AFK when I played WoW for a week on a trial account. Cant say that has happened to any of my female mules on ffxi.

Grats on generalizing an entire population just because you don't like the game. Stop bashing other games in a loot drama thread and not a ffxi vs wow thread, there are enough of those (not so many anymore since ya know, wow dwarfs ffxi's player base and there is no VS. anymore and SE is not even considered competition)

I'm not generalizing a damn thing. In my personal experience playing both FFXI and WoW, WoW is absolutely ridiculous in the amount of retarded shit that goes on. It's a breeding ground for moronic behavior. I made a new toon and within 5 minutes of logging into the Night Elf capital I'm getting a tell from someone saying how cute I am and then continued to spam me for ten minutes straight. FFXI has drama and it has idiotic players, but in my experience WoW is much worse.

I never once said I didn't like WoW because I actually do, so please don't attempt to base your comments on something that was never said. I also never stated it was a competition between WoW and FFXI so where you're getting the basis of your post is a mystery to me.

That being said, you missed the point of his post. Two people "humping your face" (lol) isn't a big deal, go cry a river it's a game shit like that happens all the time in FF who are you kidding? The occurrence you described shouldn't be used to generalize an entire MMO community. Also, he wasn't trying to look cool he was just providing a case wherein the argument that 'every WoW player is an angsty teen' is false.

I would have said 2 months is a good amount of time to decide if someone is contributing enough to a guild (especially during progression), but I think the hunter ditched out when they gave the rogue the bow so screw him. Anyone that gets angry enough over loot to quit deserves to be screwed over. I'm sure the master looter (if it was awarded that way) knew it'd be tough to decide and someone would at least be unhappy afterward. It happens.

I for one am glad all of our potential legendary holders have been around since pre-TBC. Makes decisions a lot easier and feels a ton more rewarding to finally get to give them something.

I'm not denying that the hunter would have gotten more use out of the bow.

The stats on that bow are just sick sick sick for rogues, I'd argue that if you're looking towards WotLK, the dps is likely to be outshined for a hunter much sooner than the stats are for a rogue.


Of course, the one off twins is really, really close statwise...
