yea you can turn replays off, when creating a game theres an option in advanced to chose how many replays to allow, i always just set it to 0

Another thing I didnt like about the franchise mode was the play show bluff they have, like the fucking CPU is guessing ur play? I also dont like the rewinds either, allowing u to rewind a play to retry it isnt very realistic.

The play show bluff is neat if you play two players. My brother will usually swings by my place and we'll play my franchise if the team I'm playing looks decent (Fantas Draft). Rewinds you can turn off, not really a big deal.

I also think the announcing is pretty bad lol. Fucking Collinsworth is a douche...calling me an idiot for running on 3rd and 7 when I'm up 7 with like 1:45 left in the 4th quarter. The telestrater replay is pretty sweet. Pisses me off when they point out an open receiver I missed.

In the 4 Franchise games I played I did have a couple overthrows and 1 or 2 missed routes. But I have mediocre receivers (Fucking Cotchery injured for 10 weeks in the pre-season) and Vince Young @ QB..... so I was kind of expecting that. I like the new hit animations as well. I've up-ended Reggie Bush and Randy Moss w/ Bob Sanders and forced a fumble each time ^_^.

For 360 you have to hold "R Trigger" and use the use the "R Analogue Stick" to either view the play art or use the bluff play art... I don't think it's to much of a stretch for me to assume PS3 is similar.

.....Just don't bring the bluffs up and you won't have to worry about it. It's not like they just pop up on the screen whenever, you have to trigger it.

Yeah it's the same, just hold down R2 and push up on the right analog stick and it shows your play... it's more work than just hitting R2 but is it really that big of a deal? Seems better than having different controls for single player and multiple players to me.

Has anyone had trouble connection to games through invites? I get random invites in lobbies and join those games fine, but I've been trying to play a friend and whenever we invite each other (either way) when the other person joins nothing shows up. It's just us in the session sitting there. Random people work fine, but trying to play with a friend doesn't work, anyone experience something similar?

Is it just me or is this game the exact opposite of fun?

I've only played a little bit but my god I just...don't enjoy it at all. I haven't really played a Madden since '03, which I enjoyed a lot, I can't put my finger on what I'm missing. It just feels very unwieldy. Also, crash bug in my first game of franchise...

I'm with Archibald, I couldn't get into it at all and on top of that my game froze 4 or 5 times trying to do franchise.
