That you seem able to determine the following from a blurry youtube video:

    - location of the shooter
    - severity of the injury

but they are obvious! The only thing you really need to understand is that bullets fly straight and you'll come to the same conclusion.

All the Georgians were doing was attempting to gather further information on the effects of bullet wounds in journalists.

    Bullets don't fly straight.

Wind speed and direction, and gravity to mention a few

Oh wait, I know what's going on.

You guys seem to have misunderstood my intention. I wasn't trying to tell you the exact coordinates and posture of the shooter, merely the direction from whence the shot came.

    Which is infinitely less complicated.

Oh wasn't that a silly confusion brought on by too much CSI?

There are tons of angles the bullet could bypass the camera man and hit the reporter. Seeing as how she was shot in the forearm that was by her side, and not shot center mass from behind or in front.

The cut was on her outer side of her forearm, which was pressed close to her thigh.

If it was on any angle other then straight, it would have hit her body as well.

This is, of course, assuming there was a sniper.

Yes, and I'll say that video is 100% fake.

Also that's assuming the Georgian's didn't shoot her as an afterthought, which they are apparently doing a lot of.

EDIT: Also lol at bringing up windspeed and direction. Next it'll be the corealis effect, which I've seen come into play for like 3 sniper's shots in my time. If a sniper had to use any of those factors, or even a regular soldier or marksman, you wouldn't have heard their fake ass "shot fired" sound effects, to which she reacts immediately after. If the bullet was fired from more than 600m away there would a slight delay in shot/impact, as well as the fact that if a 7.62x39 or 7.62x54 round had hit that lady's arm, she'd be missing much more of it.

Ok Churchill seeing as how you seem to know more about this than us, then explain to me how its impossible for a bullet to graze the outside of her arm and its fake because it didn't hit her body. Does the bruise and bleeding go along with what you have been taught would happen from a grazing wound?

Also, how is a gun shot supposed to sound when recorded on a camera, put onto the internet, and then played through your speakers? More bang, pow, or both? Do you know how far the shooter was? Then how can you comment on how quick you heard the shot, to when she was hit.

And why the fuck a credible news source would stage a reporter being shot. What do they stand to gain from this? More public outcry, aide, or military support? Everyone is already pissed at both of them, our humanitarian aid has landed and more is being sent, and military action is already taken off the table.

I never said it couldn't be Georgians btw.

It's still 100% bullshit because they're blaming it on a Russian sniper, that's not a sniper rounds' wound, there was no real place I could see in that frame a sniper could have hit her from and had the shot be heard like it was (lol)

Think of it like this, if any Russia rifle had hit her, she'd be missing a chunk of arm, not a graze.

She looks like, if it were real, that she was shot by a airsoft gun/.22cal round or caught a graze from a 9mm. The only other round I can think of is actually 5.56 but I'd say that's more unlikely due to it's characteristics...though I'm not familiar with the tumble from an AK74 or any other countries weapons that fire the round. An M4/M16 or variant could look similar to that if grazed.

Yeah, I missed the part about even her saying it was most likely small arms fire. So that part of the argument was unfounded and retarded, but wind speed and direction do effect the path of a bullet!

I must have missed it, how did they conclude that it was the Russians?

because it's convenient to whomever's angle of coverage to assume it was a Russian.

Supposedly the Russians blew up a Georgian ammunition depot near Gori which, if true, is probably how that reporter got grazed.
