Grav wore just when I was casting my 3rd nuke yesterday. I need at least another 2 and bind can only help with 1... I fell in 2 rounds too with my sorc ring HP ><

Maybe I'm miss understanding but are you not sleeping one of them and killing the other before the first one wakes?

From all the vids I've watched, and like Kaeko said you should bind skinny one off the bat, make big one come back to entrance and ES Sleep there, then go back out and grav, go crazy on skinny one. Bind should be back up by the time grav wears?

I tried this solo once but my BLM needs way more merits, I dont think I even had AMII at the time. Fatty woke up when I had skinny at 20%ish.

You should just Bind the little one and run the big one to the entrance. Run back to the little one, dispel it if it has Shell up.

Gravity > Manafont > Burst II > Freeze II > Thundaga III > Blizzaga III.

It should be dead if it doesn't put shell up at a shitty time (or get cures off).

If you're using manafont, you should blow 1/4 to 1/3 of your mp before you start, outside on snolls or whatever.. Freeze 2 pushing you into ugga just barely -> thunder 4 with ugga active -> manafont with ugga active. Die to big one, reraise, rest/kill. It takes longer, but if you kill the small one you've pretty much won so it's still worth it in my opinion.

Yeah I have been doing so a couple of times already. Just wondering what can be done if Gravity wears earlier... like 15-20s after casting it (still another 20+secs on recast when my Gravity wore)

I know this is for blms, but can any RDM that's solo'd this post a nuking set they have and what kinda food you use?

It's pretty simple. Just remember you have bind. You will love it. It buys you just a little extra time. I also like to take a few yagudo drinks in with me. I love 3MP per tick while idle.

Like everybody said: Bind, Stun are your best bet.

If you are getting hit while running away from it. Earth Staff time .


Remember to cast buffs on you, no clue why you are dying from one TP move. (unless I'm reading it wrong).

Sometimes shit just happens and you're going to lose. Whether it be gravity wearing after about 10 seconds, lag causing your SS/blink to be wiped while sleep II'ing the big one, or not dispelling protect and then having it put up super shell only to have your dispel remove protect. Like you said, you only have about 1:30, that's assuming everything goes perfect. One pro-tip is if you have a spirit lantern USE IT. I had one collecting dust in my MH for years, now I use it before the initial bind/sleep/"zerg" and it adds quite a bit of DMG to the first round of nukes when it's vital to kill fast.

The thing that always gets me when I try and solo on RDM is macro lag when I want to convert when CS is up. I'll end up losing 5-10 seconds just spamming my Convert macro which ends up killing me, because CS ends at around 10% and it'll use a Cure 5.
