Nope, different director than the first 3. Didn't start where the 3rd one left off and had a few plot holes that didn't make sense with 3 I believe.

I thought the cop died because he couldn't wait and wanted to save everyone? Or did he lose the other guy but he lived? It's been too long since I've seen it to remember.

I actually liked the fourth one that it sort of had an actual plot to it that was more than just people killing each other. Anything nowadays that goes on forever just becomes an income generator in my eyes though, unless miraculously something isn't just churned out crap to make a dollar.

Honestly I enjoyed Saw 1,3 and 4...didnt care for two, felt too much like a slasher teen flick to me, though some of the deaths were nice. To put Hostel and the Saws on the same level is kind of an insult really....
