Well damn, I liked Chef. What music I have heard from him sounded okay to me. This year really does suck. Who's next?
No, I thought the pic the person posted was funny, so I add my comment on there. I don't pick fight or go looking for attention. Hell look at my post records, I joined a year ago and the majority of my posts have only been recent and they've almost all been in Brawl. Well, at least I know in the future to just go with everyone else's love of a few choice celebrites~
To me it's not about loving or hating a celebrity. It's about how disrespectful it is to wish death on anyone.
God forbid the guy works. How dare he, he should die for being being "overcasted."

People say that kind of thing everyday. "That bastard cut me off in traffic, I hope he runs into a wall." "That asshole doesn't do shit at work and he got a raise, fuck him." It's nothing new, it's my irritation of seeing him in every damn movie and people think he's the best thing out there. I can't think of a movie in the last 5 years where I thought he was great in. And he isn't the only celebrity I think that about, but god forbid I mention anyone else.
I already acknowledged that wishing death on a person is a bad thing. And again, I wasn't "e-thugging" (though the repliers to my posts have been more towards that) nor trolling. But I'm done. Think whatever you want of me, I'm done posting in this thread.
You know what really bothers me about this whole thing? The whole "Omg what's going on? Why are so many people dying?" attitude. I know a celebrity is sadly always going to be "worth" more than any random Joe who died regardless of how many were hurt by it, but it just sort of does get on my nerves when people blatantly make it seem that a dead celebrity is worth more than a hundred dead non celebrities. Or maybe i'm just looking at this all wrong, maybe it just has more to do with familiarity and celebrities have that, whether people really know them or not.
I'ts probably familiarity. Last year I had a few deaths close to me. The effect they had on me (from least to greatest) went like this:
Uncle > PS2 > Dog
Yeah, it's horrible that PS2 took more priority than my uncle but I haven't seen my uncle in years since we moved but he was pretty cool from when I spent time with him. I've had more interaction with my PS2 in the last few years than him. And while I did play with my PS2 a lot, I saw my dog every single day. All these events made me feel pretty shitty. (Well, PS2 was somewhat okay; I went and picked up a PS3. I just spent more thought on it than my uncle.)
So I guess the more familiar a person or object is to you, the more of an effect their death has on you.
Yes, Sam-L Jackson is over exposed, death is the only solution to his incredible popularity. How dare he breath while while other people are forced to watch his work.
That makes too much sense. Incidentally, you're a mild annoyance to me and are someone who I probably wont think about ever again after this thread. I hope iron spikes are shoved down your throat and up your ass and you're rotisseried over a fire for a week. Also, your friend died. lol.
Ironically enough I've worked at a rotisserie so I'd know all about shoving spikes up things asses! And as I recall you were the one people were sick of in Spam? Short memory?
Ironic, really?
Totally.
RIP: Chef
2008 strikes again. :/
If there is any justice in the world Paris Hilton/Lindsey Lohan/Nicole Richie/Miley Cyrus will be next.
