Moriko [Valefor] HOMAM NINJA LOT

Moriko attempted to steal 3 pieces of Homam from LS CounterPost today.
She succeeded in stealing one, the hands.

Sadly, this person doesn't have a job capable of wearing it yet.
She supposedly server transferred from Seraph(?) and has a Ridill.
Has a Runic Disc at Lv80 as well.
Her 3-month wait to server transfer again is up, so she probably won't be on Valefor for much longer.

I'm pretty pissed right now, we've never had anyone try anything this ridiculous in over two years. -.-

She applied to our LS on May 28, a few days after being on Valefor.

If you see a suspicious Ridill WAR/RNG/BRD Taru female hopping servers towards the end of the month, please be wary.

so, you accepted someone to your LS even though the BC showed they lied about their original name? also, it appears in the picture that you had plenty of time to kick them from the alliance after they lotted, as you had numerous people telling him to pass. why would your pt leaders not know the "/pcmd kick" command?

Warnings are great and all, but I honestly don't understand why this person was allowed to stay in the alliance for so long. If they aren't passing, kick them out, problem solved.

Regarding the decision to let her into LS, she applied with a verified reference from a LS member in good standing. And in hindsight, yes it was a poor decision, because not enough material character evidence had been presented at that point; however, we try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
We did not have plenty of time to kick her; the reason the hands dropped first was because everyone else had passed on it - we've never had problems like this before aside from legitimate accidents, but we're normally more careful (not because of distrust, because we've never had this situation arise before).
Lastly, two more points regarding why the PT leader didn't kick fast enough - one, she lotted last on it and the item fell immediately, secondly that PT's leader as Japanese and not on our Vent server, so it took a moment to kick. We resolved it before the body and feet dropped, however.

Most people passed pretty fast, we didn't realize what was going on until it happened. This person had made no signs of any tricky like this before.

We're not looking for sympathy, just warning other people.

I know you really shouldnt have to worry about your members stealing shit, but basicaly you set urself up to fail. Having a party leader not on vent is soemthing i wouldnt suggest and let alone a jp person who doesnt speak ur language and doesnt realize whats going on. People really shouldnt pass till hey find out who's getting what then pass to prevent assholery like this.

Agreed, in hindsight there were several security vulnerabilities that would have been addressed to prevent this sort of incident.

Now Moriko is going about like nothing's happened, leveling up their THF so they can put on her stolen homam. It's unfortunate that people like this can just run free, but that's the mechanics of the game.
We have reason to believe that the character may have changed hands in the last few months - if that is the case, I wonder if the STF would do anything on the accusation of account selling, if they look up the payment/address details and find that they were changed abruptly coinciding with the server transfer and timeframe of the supposed sale.

I'll let you know if anything comes of that or when we notice that Moriko leaves the server.

If/when she server transfers, it'll be easier to reference that video to verify character model and such.
Anyways, other notable gear is Fortitude Torque, Askar Korazin, and the Ridill.
I'll keep you updated on any further information.

Ok, got confession of RMTing the account.

"it was fun while I did play with you guys... I should have been honest with you before I sold the account and told you to boot the character off I'm sorry. Try not to raise many alarm bells other than need be, because i'm trying to milk more money off this ass now. "

I don't think the account was sold like 2 months ago, but perhaps a couple of weeks ago.
Regardless, does anyone know how best to proceed with submitting this to SE and making them actually do something about it?
Giving the previous account owner the benefit of the doubt for the moment, perhaps she would be willing to cooperate, and if not then, then we at least have evidence of a violation of the ToS.
