The people that run RMTs are geniuses.
But is that a reason to not talk about it? Hell, it's not like there's anything else going on. No Drama, one of the best shells existing spent 18 hours playing with SE's new plaything to no avail (good try everyone involved btw), and they dropped the price on the Vanadiel Collection. Probably some time for some bitching about some good ole RMT tactics.

also amemet mantle +1 on odin, little do they realize they're shooting themselves in the foot since leathercrafters wont buy their skins lol. But ya I think they reset the AH at a low price, buy up all the ones regular players list at that price, then just jack the price up when they're ready while continually buying the low price listed items from normal players. Soon enough someone will pay the regular price for one and they've just profited a hundred K+ on each item.
its a usual thing that ive noticed on diabolos a few times.....sometimes i just do a STF report...sometimes i try and purchase those items like a LS member managed to do a few times as these idiots generally do the buying/selling at around the same time everyday until they get banned.
still yet to get anything cheap....but the items OP listed are generally the same on every server
Hmmm...might be a good time to try to pick up a brown belt.
The items listed by the OP are ones that aren't hard to get, but their prices are limited by the rather impressive number of them in circulation. I know the one craftable in that list (merman's earring) is darn useful, but not worth crafting b/c the price isn't quite high enough, and if you try to jack up the price, someone else can easily step in and undercut it back down to where it is.
Many of the others are either one-time-per-character quest rewards or things that used to be rare NM drops and are now rare/ex, so the number of them entering circulation is disproportionate to the number in circulation. So, once enough have been gobbled up by whatever group is doing this, they'll have something approaching a monopoly on them.
Old is old.
Eh, doesn't seem advanced enough for me.
RMT usually have a bot-reader checking for items to go up on the AH. They'll clear the AH record by cycling items to a cheap price, buy them up for a while, then mark things up to "normal"ish and rake in some Gil.
Takes next to no effort and they'll do it on nearly anything that's a decent profit margin.
It's VERY old, I've GMed/STFU'D a few groups before, but it seems like they just restart later with different accounts/names/etc/blah/blah.
holy shit, i saw narbie and thought "wtf?" so i clicked and saw all this bought shit and crapped my pants thinking i got hacked ;x
I've already reported these people, they can restart or whatever. Me knowing they got banned with all that gil and items on-hand makes me giddy though. They obviously have to keep quite a bit of money on each character, because if you look they buy stuff in sets, mostly all rare.
