Well the AI is extremly poor, the control on most vehicles is horrible, hard to even stop a vehichle, the weapons arent acurate at all, bullet detection is way off, I shot a guy 5 times and the bullet never hit his body. So far I do like the RPG, thats about it, and the graphics are pretty piss poor and generic. This is def not a 60 dollar game for sure, was playing, would have posted more info. Also the main character only says like 5 lines and he repeats them constantly and its pretty annoying. Im using mathias. ok so the Ai of helpers u get during missions is pretty retarded too, they take forever to get into vehicles an do next to nothing while fighting enemies.

Ok so the mission im on now has me driving a pickup in a small building up levels and its horrendous to drive this thing.

One was fun, regardless of whether EA published this one or not I think everyone that enjoyed one was atleast expecting this to be enjoyable. Pre-ordered it ages ago, but it's not out til next week here, I'll wait to try it myself before passing judgement.

Well quite honestly Ive never been a fan of EA but latley they have been delayng projects to make them better and abandoning movie tie in games for the most part, hopefuly deadspace will be a good game, from what Ive seen that at least is something their making we can look forward to.

But I suggest you take a look and read their partners agreements they have had with a few diffrent developers, for the most part the partners not EA decide when games drop and when their done. EA markets the product, but thats it, they dont develop it or have any influence whatsoever. Just like the deal with ID and Epic, those two are making their game and EA is just marketing it. Im not sure about what influences EA had on merc's, no details were given.

But dead space is a proven point tha they are improving in the quality of what they make.

Been playing this for a good few hours and I have to say its a pretty good game. If you go into this game expecting a MGS4 quality type game then of course your going to be disappointed otherwise if your looking for some mindless fun this game does it pretty well.

The graphics aren't that great but I have yet to see a open world game have great graphics anyway, as for the gun issues I only noticed the bullets not hitting where I aim with the carbine but even that wasn't so bad.

Use the assault rifle some its horrendous. Assassin's creed, GTA 4, Fable 2, Fallout 3 all open world look either great or amazing, so I have to disagree. Even oblivion could be on that list it looked pretty good.

I've used the Light M6 the majority of the game and haven't really had any problems with bullets not hitting their target unless I'm like really far away.

Tried the assault rifle and every other rifle it's fine. From what I can tell when your further away your some of your bullets will stray from the target while if your closer pretty much all bullets will hit your enemy, if you want realism that's how its going to be.

And GTA4 graphics are barely better then Mercs2.

I picked it up yesterday. This game has multiple issues. The first of which is all the glitches while playing online cooperative. In the span of 45 minutes there were five massive glitches that popped up, and it's shit that could have been easily fixed. Here's the glitches in the software that I ran into.

1. While getting into a truck I watched an NPC in a whitesuit float across the screen from the right to the left will in a crouched stance. Never changed stances the entire time just literally hovered his way across the screen.

2. While in the same truck an NPC manned the machine gun on the back. While he was in the stationary position his hands were in front of him(like he was aiming straight ahead) and the machine gun was bouncing around as if he was rotating the gun while pointing it at his feet. Didn't stop until I got out of the truck.

3. While aboard any ship if you aren't piloting it, or manning one of the machine guns you will be pushed off the boat right into the water. Regardless of whether you're standing on the deck of the ship or inside the cabin on one of the larger ships.

4. While being pushed through the cabin of a ship I took damage to the point where I was down to 1 hit point. I was not being shot at. There was nobody even remotely close to us and my friend was driving the boat.

5. While hijacking one of the larger ships(one of the huge barges) my friend was standing up inside the cabin with me while I was piloting the ship. While we were going he began glitching through the cabin, being pushed towards the back of the boat. He ended up hovering in midair suspended above the deck but still even with where the cabin would have been.

Overall this game seems like it was rushed to stores while major glaring issues were altogether ignored. The game itself is fun and if you enjoyed the first one, you will no doubt enjoy the second one. But don't expect an earth-shattering game here. The graphics are subpar. The controls aren't the best in the world, especially when driving any vehicles. The collision detection is absolutely horrid. The rag doll physics on your characters are over the top ridiculous. The accuracy with weapons is flat out disgustingly bad. If you can overlook these things, it's still a fun game.

It's disappointing because if Pandemic would have waited a little while longer and fixed these issues, maybe do a bit of a graphical update as well, this game would easily have been one of the better ones released this year. But the way it stands now I give it a 7 out of 10.

Another thing I noticed if you tagged an item for your helicopter pilot to pick up and another item is close by, he'll just sit there midairdoing nothing, cant tell you how many times ive lost fuel or money because of this glitch. Im going to take it back today, to me I just cant warrant paying 60 bucks for such inquality, hope you enjoy the game brill, ill pick it up when its around 20 bucks.

Yeah the fact that they actually charged people 59.99 for this is a bit absurd. But I bought it more for the multiplayer than anything. But as a whole I am very disappointed with the game's execution. These developers should be fucking ashamed they let this hit the stores when so many of these problems could have been fixed extremely quickly and easily.
