I still don't have a clear, defensible explanation of why PerfectDodge is mentioned in this list of (what I perceive to be) "tainted" LS's.

There is no member named. There is no specific time line of activity.

I'm trying very hard to find out how the initial post differs from the sort of thing I expect to find on the cover of the National Enquirer, and I'm coming up short.

If the initial post is valid, its posting should have been delayed until its claims could be rested upon at least some kind of evidence, over and above "because I said so."

sounds like OP just found forums that this person in question has registered on, and then used his "jump to conclusions mat". there's no conclusive evidence suggesting any of the LS mentioned actually accepted these characters in question.
