    Trumpet Rings

    What is the actual cap for this synth?

    I've been getting conflicting data from various sources saying its either 96 or 97 and I'm not sure what to believe. I searched some threads here and someone mentioned being able to attempt it at 81, but they never said anything about skill enhancements they had active. Personally I never saw a skill up on a break before 92 but I know that doesn't really mean much.

    Cap I can tell you is I beleive 96 or 97. I am leaning towards 96 cause that is where I stopped and went Gavial, but it is one or the other.

    I stopped getting any skills on this at 96. Had a string of about 30 synths without skills after hitting 96. I took it as a sign of the cap and moved on to G.Masks. It is quite possible that I just hit a horrid streak of bad luck and is in no way definitive proof of the cap.

    They are definitely 96 cap. I did these to 96 about a month ago, and spent the subsequent 3 weeks fishing up trumpet shells on my main and synthing rings to replenish my gil supply. Not sure of the exact number of synths, but it was at least several hundred without any skill.
