I remember reading about this awesome tool that would decrypt and backup dvds in one foul swoop but now I can't seem to find it. Any suggestions?

I usuaully use DVD Decrypter to make an ISO, then use PowerISO to mount/burn the new ISO. There's a ton of DVD ripping software out there if you just google it, or search like...ISOhunt.com for it.
DVD Decrypter -> Daemon Tools.
DVD Fab, maybe? You have to pay for the versions that will do everything at once though. Otherwise, you just use the free HD Decryptor to get the unencrypted DVD on your computer, then something like ImgBurn to put it back onto a DVD.
I use DVDShrink myself, but all the tools named so far do it just fine.
Huh, that DVDFab looks kinda good, might try that myself. ;x and since when does one have to pay for software?
DVDFab Platinum v5 0 7 6 Multilingual WinAll Cracked-WRATH says otherwise.![]()
Actually, on a somewhat similiar subject, what is a good piece of software for converting an AVI or MPG (of any kind), to DVD? I know some DVD players can just play an AVI burned on a DVD, but I seem to recall some sort of conversion utility to basically take any video/audio container to be playable on most all DVD players.
ConvertXtoDVD does wonders for me.
ImgBurn I believe will take video from several different formats and convert it to .VOBs for standard players. However, it won't do any reauthoring (adding in chapters--different files will automatically be separated into different titles.) For chapter authoring, AVS tools seems to work (free version leaves a watermark, but I'm sure a cracked version would be pretty easy to find.)
