I've been overly naive all week. ~_~;
Hopefully this means a fixed amount of points no matter how long you take to get them, and no rank loss. I know I'm not the only one out there not bothering with Campaign at all because I don't care to do it regularly enough to actually keep my rank, much less progress.In response to this, players can expect the standards of Campaign evaluations to be simplified in order to make the entire process more agreeable and accessible.
"Goblin RIAA Hunters have been added to areas around Campaign Tag NPCS, they observe every player obtaining tags, even resorting to stalking to ensure they dont execute excessive song playing on the battle field"
^ Would have been win
Seems nice additions, and I hope they make strongholds campaign appealing, as of now it is almost impossible to drag people fighting there.
But...
PLEASE LEAVE SMN BUFFS AS THEY ARE NOW, don't touch them, don't... please
Hoo-freaking-ray, the /brd botters have to spend 12 hours AFK leveling now instead of only 8, and the people who actually healed and buffed get even MORE screwed on exp and AN!
im glad they are putting some more attention on campaign, but i'd rather other update news hopefully they are saving the best for last. I don't want to get to 2 days before update and they announce the adjustment of Chocobo Raising
The BC will drop stuff as good as the Aht Ughan beastmen king BCs haha
Here's a novel idea: Why don't we wait til they are actually implemented, and we've played with them a bit to determine difficulty and drops, before we whine that no one will do them? I'll give you the possibility that it might suck, but SE has pulled out win before.
Overall, the notes sound promising. My only beef is that this freelance SCH NPC will apparently only be available to one nation at a time. If he/shee only dispenses campaign info, it would have been nicer to give one to each nation.
8 key items... i smell xarcabard
Could be better. Was half expecting a surprise PW notice but there's no way that would happen. 6/10
Or at least remain optimistic until .dat scans >.>Here's a novel idea: Why don't we wait til they are actually implemented, and we've played with them a bit to determine difficulty and drops, before we whine that no one will do them? Oh that sucks, I was just going to try the singing thing for my lower end jobs.
Thank god, I get so fucking tired of losing an area because 10 people are struggling against waves of beastmen while fucking 30 people stand at the NPC spamming songs like a bunch of bitches.
Would definitely like to see a boost to the experience given for things in campaign, namely Raising people. It would also be nice to see some sort of boost to the experience you get in campaign once you are max rank, because at that point most players still doing campaign are doing it for Experience, since you don't really have to do much to maintain your medal. (Doing Campaign Ops when your credits are up is easily enough to keep your medal). Something like 25% more XP or something would be dandy, but that's just me hoping.
Anyways, good to see they're doing something about this /brd bullshit, it was really starting to grate on me, even though SCH/RDM was awesome for owning those guys.
No difference in people using /brd in Campaign over the people skilling and leeching in Besieged, and people got over that.
More things to do!
Wwwwiinnnnnnnnnn =D
